"Traitor...."
As his consciousness came to being those where the first words he heard.
Slowly opening his eyes he found himself in a distorted space.
Yes distorted. It had no definite form and seemed to shift into multiple background by the second.
A park, the cityscape, the sky and castle room.
The sheer surealness of it made one feel schizophrenic so he decided not to pay it ant hind and focused no move his body.
"Huh..."
Confusion gripped the back of his mind as he realized he couldn't move, he wasnt bounded and he felt the solid surface of the ground but no matter what he didn't he could move.
"Anemia..." He heard the voice ones more as the face of a child with black greenish hair poked up above him.
"Mephisto!"
Noticing the childs hexagonal green pupils, his expression grew dim.
"Ha... without the glass separating as you're offerly sentimental."
Glancing down at him in disbain,he commented.
'it as if you suddenly remember we where friends ones."
"I.. didn't forget....I just didn't want to bring it up."
"That what you and sloth did,you betrayed me,took my ambition and forgot me..."
"It was the only way to prevent you from being sent back to gehenna!"
Mephisto clearly disatified with his word averted his gaze of him in anger and walked away.
As he moved away, the ground Envy laid in was cutted of from the surrounding ground and lifted up.
Now vertically floating off the ground, the surface of the floating ground began to melt sinking Envy's sink deep within. Before his back was fully submerged within the cement, it dried up withholding parts of his back within, leaving him glued to it.
"You replacement is quite impressive."
The world distorted one more this time taking the form of a large modern living room with an open view that displayed a mist filled city scape that streched forth in the horizon.
Manifesting a white chair at the edge, Mephisto took a sit and examined a stir in the mist city ahead.
A whirlwind filled after the stir, as a figure dotted within his vision because of how far it was shoot out of the mist and flew towards the clouds.
As the dot in the distance surged upward, a humongous long figure also surged out the mist behind them, it long thing outline clearly visible even from how far it was, trailed after the dot like a rocket soaring up in the sky.
As they soared higher and higher into the vast sky, the snake like figure with most of its body still within the most city below, spread it's maws apart and attempted to devoured the dot but...
"Impressive indeed!" Envy chuckled as a flicker of crimson light illuminated from the dot as the stopped their flight and descended on the enormous snake with ruthless intent.
Circling pass it's jaws, the dot which he presumed was Ciel, began spinning around the snake skining the creature from head to the part of it which was visible above the mist.
The creature now riddled with wound, began twisted and deformed before its large firm tilted of the clouds and descended upon the cityscape with large tremors in its wake.
"As expected a mere imitation wouldn't get the job done."
Dangling his little legs of the chair he sat on,Mephisto sigh and stared at the approaching dot growing large and large by the second.
"Aren't you happy she found us."
Mephisto remarked noticing Envy silence.
Envy whiles not disappointed by ciel displayed was neither proud.
"Strength isn't always the key to victory." He mused.
Within the confines of his domain, Mephisto was almost a lord class in strength so no matter how powerful Ciel was now he knew she wouldn't win.
He had given her the key to win but she still hadn't realized it.
Noticing he was still silent Mephisto taking on his original appearance, a devilish young man with black greenish hair rose ofhis seat and walked towards the floating floor tiles he laid on.
"What's are you up too?"
"Is you question under the request of Rogue or you free will."
"That bitch has nothing to do with this." Mephisto retorted his face winkled with rage.
"Keep you secrets to yourself then"
Regaining his composure he decided don't go pry into why Envy passed down his lineage.
Right now getting revenge on that traitor was all that mattered.
Glancing at the dots that grew near and near he closed his right eyes a neutral expression on his face.
"It's a shame, had she been a few years younger I might have spared her of this."
Unlike most hostile devils he hated needless casualties. He had no particular hate for Ciel but he knew she will get in the way of his revenge so he had to kill her and more over Envy seem to value her quite a bit so as bonus he was going to make death extra brutally just for the former devil to know how he felt on that day.
As he pondered on the most cruel death he could give he felt the winds around his neck stir causing him to unconscious duck and as he did a silver flash of light laced with hints of red swiped passed his head leaving him a bit surprised.
"Not good with pleasantries I suppose!"
Eyeing the sword that had aimed at diced of his head, he raised his right hand a delivered a flick into the heap of metal.
There was a sound as if metal had been bent as the sword and its wielder were sent flying in the air.
Watching this happening he snapped his fingers as thousands of metallic spikes rose off the ground and shot towards the flung Ciel.
As this happened he suddenly noticed fragments of what seemed like gravels dropping to the ground.
[Envious displacement]
Sudden his vision was blinded by a crisomon light as Ciel switched places with falling gravel and delivered an upwards slice that ripped through his left shoulder and diced its off, causing a spray of blood to soak her and the surrounding.
As all of this happened, the gravels now taking Ciel place where piecred by thousands of spikes and destroyed without a fragment remained.
"Hm.."
Gazing at the sight of the thousand of shattered spikes falling to ground he snapped his fingers one's more as the metallic fragments desolved into liquid and rained down onto them.
"It seems in the battle of imitation you're are better than the jöurmungandr I created." He smiled.
Within the various levels of the demon realmz Gehenna, there existed creatures know as Beasts.
In terms of threat level they where in no way inferior to the lord rank devils, with the most powerful ones like Fenrir and Tiamat being said to be even stronger.
Jöurmungandr the snake creature Ciel had fought was one of the Beasts and while the one she had killed was way inferior to the real deal he had been confident it would have given Ciel more of a challenger but seeing how ferocious she still was he couldn't help but furrow over that fact that even whiles Ciel was an imitation of Envy the sheer level of strength she displayed was too much.
Glancing at Ciel and finally Envy a look of realization struck him as he retreat backwards to avoiding been cleaved in half by the bloodied Ciel—no Envy.
