Chapter 2 - New world

Alex was the first to wake up and was greeted by the heat of the atmosphere. 'I spawned near a volcano', Alex thought.

Then he saw a giant fox-like animal next to him. Its fur glowed unnaturally orange and red, it locked eyes with Alex who was too terrified to move.

Unexpectedly, the giant fox morphed into a man. The man had deep orange eyes, orange hair and an extremely muscular built. He wore a shiny metal armor and held a giant battle axe.

He approached slowly as if trying not to scare him (which didn't work anyway). 'Please stay back!', Alex shouted as he tried to crawl away but felt a sharp pain in his torso. Only then was he conscious of the bleeding injury on his torso.

'Don't move and hold still or else you want to bleed to death', he said calmly. He knelt and placed his hands on the injury. Slowly but surely, it began to heal. 'Magic', Alex thought.

Few minutes later, Alex could barely walk. The man began to search for something so Alex used his time to clearly see his surroundings. The place looked like a battle field as dead bodies were all over the place.

'Found it', the man yelled. He was carrying a girl a bit younger than Alex but not by much. The man morphed back into a giant fox. 'Hop on', he told Alex. 'You mean on your back'. 'Well I don't recommend my head'. Alex tried to climb his back but the fox was too big so it reduced its size and increased it after Alex had climbed.

Then it ran at a frightening speed. Alex somehow managed to stay on board while the body was doing just fine. 'Maybe, it's magic', he thought.

Finally, they arrived at an inn. 'So you're still alive, that's good to hear', a man greeted him as they went inside. 'Room for two please', the 'fox man' said. After receiving the key they went upstairs to Room 17.

The room was a bit small, it had a bed that would fit only two people, a lamp and a poor decor. 'My name's Alan by the way', the man whose name is apparently Alan said while resting the body gently on the bed.

Alan brought out a small candle and suddenly Alex eyes became heavy. 'But I'm not sleepy', he said before drifting off. Alan carefully placed him on the bed. It was sleeptime for Alex
