"Impressive." Anon mumbled this under his breath whilst nodding his head.
Currently, he stood atop a barren and desolate expanse. There were large craters and rough, jagged rocks, spread out across the greyish white terrain.
This terrain floated in the light consuming void, a world of darkness.
Indeed, he, Anon, was standing on the moon!
Though his breathing was not affected, his body still felt strange as the training room accurately imitated the lower gravity.
"Change scenery to the remains of a cosmic battlefield." Anon ordered with genuine excitement tinged into his voice.
The world around him underwent a great transformation.
The dark void was painted with many colors that included purple, green, and even a dark shade of red. In fact, this crimson red was the most prominent.
Far into the depths of the void were multiple stars that had been dyed in a crimson color as they oozed out rivers of blood which spilled into the void, tainting it, and painting a deathly picture.
Now, he stood atop a shattered space rock spanning tens of kilometers in length, with multiple holes and fragmented parts.
There were half destroyed and shattered weapons embedded into the celestial body drifting through this dark void.
As he stood in this strange world of wonder, Anon inwardly mused, 'Father spoke of many variations of worlds, where laws were incomprehensible in nature.'
'Switch sky worlds, I also wish to experience one. But, while a cosmic battlefield is a fantasy type setting known to the public, it would not make sense for me to know of switch sky worlds and other special realms of foreign civilizations.'
There was an artificial intelligence that oversaw this room, documenting all things. It would not be smart to switch the scenery to a "switch sky world".
"Return to normal." Anon ordered.
The training room was a large hall that held within many kinds of machinery ranging from fighting dummies to a clunky bit of technology called a gravity engine.
These pieces of technologies, and more, were all prepared to assist a student in their cultivation and technique mastery.
Anon exited the training room around seven in the morning whilst pondering deeply, 'It's been many months, and yet, I've not suffered any nightmares, apart from that particular night.'
Though that unusual dream could be considered as a nightmare, it wasn't like any of the others which he experienced before.
He did not treat it as one of those nightmares, so to Anon, it felt as if he had not suffered from a nightmare since his time back home.
Rather than that being a good thing...
'I can't help but feel as if something is amiss.' Anon sighed deeply.
In his chest, even though he suppressed this odd feeling, a chaotic whirlwind of emotions churned.
His subconscious hinted at an unbright future.
...
The three servants were very diligent in their work as they handled all the miscellaneous things in the S manor, making the lives of Seth and Anon quite simple.
The military academy naturally desired for their geniuses to focus solely on cultivation.
So, by half seven, breakfast was already prepared for the duo. And at half eight, they left the S manor residence.
The first official class began at nine...
This being knowledge that they woke up already knowing thanks to the chip which had been embedded into the bracelet given to them by the academy.
Outside of the S manor's residence, Anon and Seth had their backs toward the residence's gates.
Smiling oddly, Seth ordered, "Take me to class."
On his wrist, the bracelet abruptly began vibrating before it shot out green colored starlight that wrapped around Seth's feet.
Immediately thereafter, his body was lifted off the ground as he flew into the air.
Anon quickly imitated Seth's actions.
Following him, Anon slowly acclimatized to this sensation whilst thinking, 'This is quite difficult to control.'
But his focus on the flight ability was quickly dispersed as a dark light flashed in his eyes 'I promised to bend the academy's rules in my favor.'
'I'll first enter the hall of treasures and take note of the costs of those mystic treasures, magical items, and such, before committing to "that" ploy.'
...
The military academy was separated into three sectors and the core domain. Naturally, these three sectors were year one, year two, and year three respectfully.
In the sector for year ones, all the manors ranging from S, T, and H, resided in a hilly expanse. At the bottom of each hill was a dirt pathway that stretched throughout the expanse.
After grasping full control over their flight ability, the duo followed the pathway which guided them to a bridge that stretched into a gathering of thick mist.
As they crossed the bridge, the fog slowly parted ways for their vision, revealing to them, two daunting pearly gates.
Though, right before Anon walked through these gates, his senses flared, warning him...
"A-Ah-Ahhhh!"
Bang!
Anon dodged to Seth's side as Andrew came crashing down from the skies.
"Argh..."
The impact of his body colliding into the dirt ground caused a small crater to form.
"Damn." Andrew grunted with annoyance as he glanced at Anon and Seth, "Sorry about that."
"If it was not you, it'd have been someone else." Seth grinned strangely and walked past the burly youth.
Anon uttered under his breath, "This flight technique is indeed difficult to master."
Without continuing his words, he walked past Andrew and through the mighty gates decorated in varying colors of marble.
Bam!
Catharina landed on the ground soon after.
Though it was not expertly done, even causing splinters to form under her feet, she was obviously slightly more skilled than Andrew who had crashed into the earth.
Landing next to her was another female student, but Catharina's focus was on the back of a certain young man who walked step by step alongside a vicious devil.
"You missed him by a second." The girl next to her smiled with amusement as she whispered in Catharina's ears.
Catharina's resolve was palpable as she addressed the girl with pigtails. "I do not plan to trespass into his world," she said, her voice steady.
"Instead, I'll watch from afar and destroy anything that attempts to intrude." A cold light flashed through Catharina's eyes, causing her companion to frown.
"Catharina," She couldn't help but sigh, shaking her head whilst saying, "This level of possessiveness isn't healthy."
"Me? Possessive?" Catharina tilted her head, "Freya, we may not know each other well, but I, Catharina Allmond, am not possessive, nor obsessed over any one thing."
Allmond...
When saying her family's name aloud, Catharina subtly proclaimed that, as the child of an Otherworldly Knight, the young mistress of a great family, there was no need for to be possessive over anything...
Why?
Because what she desired to have, she acquired.
"Alright then," Freya picked up on Catharina's tone and shook her head once more, deciding not to pursue the matter.
"Good morning."
A chilly voice entered the duo's ears as Felix walked past them and greeted Andrew.
'Huh?!' Catharina widened her eyes as a shiver ran up her spine.
Freya's relaxed expression immediately switched up as she shot a cold glance towards Felix, turning to Catharina and voicing, "Who the hell is he?!"
"Felix."
Catharina replied whilst squinting her eyes, "He awakened on the final night."
Raising her brows in surprise, Freya confusedly asked, "What! He's from Blackridge too?"
When asking Catharina who Felix was, naturally, she did not expect a reply. But now, not only did she know where he was from, more than his origin, she heard something much too nonsensical.
"He awakened two nights ago?" Though she asked this, Freya found it hard to believe.
Turning to Catharina, her emotions calmed as she doubtfully asked, "He can evade my senses after being a stellar fighter for two days?"
Catharina sluggishly nodded her head, "Yeah, I also find it hard to believe."
After all, a stellar fighter's spirit was far more potent than that of an ordinary human.
As they grew stronger, their perception sharpened, allowing them to sense movements and intentions with uncanny clarity.
Catharina's spirit was remarkable; it could complete three complex tasks at once, granting her a level of perception that surpassed the comprehension of ordinary humans.
To evade such acute awareness, one would need an extraordinary mastery of martial arts—skills honed not just for movement, but for moving in absolute silence.
And yet, Felix did just that.
In a ghostly manner, he leisurely walked past the two female stellar geniuses.
