At a certain level of strength, logic did not apply, and worldly laws had little effect.
The second world was already a world of superhumans. In fact, it wasn't uncommon for those in the first layer of the second world to move at speeds that would've shattered the sound barrier in the old world.
Because the world had changed, so to did its laws.
There were many things now, different than before. So numerous, in fact, that it would be simply too much to explain.
So, in the face of those in the third world, and battles between entities of the third world, and magical attacks of these third world beings, what made sense to the mortal mind did not matter, and the logic that these minds utilized, did not apply.
