Furen looked up at Tayuya, who had just pushed him away.
After transforming into the second state of the Curse Mark, Tayuya didn't become as hideous as the other members of the Sound Four. Her second state only made her skin slightly darker, and she had a few devil-like horns on her head.
Tayuya tossed away her hat, shaking out her hair, which instantly made her appear more beautiful.
In this form, not only did Tayuya not become repulsive, but she also gained a unique allure. Her long hair and horns added a demonic charm that made Furen even more intrigued.
Tayuya picked up her flute from the ground and began playing again.
"Magic Flute: Dream Sound Lock!"
The haunting melody filled the air, and Furen immediately felt his body slowly being bound. As he looked down, he saw that his body was gradually melting away.
The surroundings also began to shift, becoming somewhat illusory.
"This is... genjutsu," Furen said, looking up at the flute-playing Tayuya.
Tayuya smirked, playing even harder, thinking that Furen had fallen into her genjutsu.
"Don't waste your effort. Look around and see where you really are," Furen's voice suddenly interrupted her.
Tayuya blinked, and the scene before her vanished, replaced by another.
In the dim underground space.
At that moment, Tayuya found herself lying on a bed in a backup hideout for the Sound ninjas, with Furen pressing down on her.
Her illusion had had no effect on him!
Instead, she herself had unknowingly fallen into Furen's genjutsu!
"Your genjutsu doesn't work on me," Furen said, staring directly at Tayuya. The Yamanaka clan's techniques provided resistance to genjutsu, and only highly advanced illusions could possibly trap him.
To ensnare Furen in a genjutsu, it would take someone as skilled as Kurenai, a genjutsu master.
"One day, I'll be stronger than Orochimaru," Furen said as he gripped Tayuya's chin, his monstrous strength exerting pressure on her.
Tayuya didn't respond verbally, but Furen's system notified him of her thoughts.

"Transform into the second state of the Curse Mark," Furen commanded.
Tayuya's Favorability: +20%

"Take this," Tayuya handed Furen a summoning scroll in the underground base.
"What's this?" Furen asked as he unfurled the scroll.
"Sign the contract. From now on, you and I will be able to communicate through this," Tayuya replied, still as straightforward as ever, even though she had already submitted to Furen.
Furen smiled, biting his finger and letting his blood drop onto the summoning scroll, signing a contract with Tayuya's summoned beasts.
As soon as the contract was sealed, Furen immediately summoned the creature.
The creature Tayuya gave him wasn't one of the three demons, but rather an adorable, chubby-faced cat.
"I didn't expect you to like something this cute," Furen teased, picking up the chubby-faced cat and squeezing its cheeks.
"Meow~ That hurts~" the cat said, much to Furen's surprise, as it could speak.
"If you need anything, let this cat deliver the message," Tayuya instructed.
Furen set the cat down and said to Tayuya, "For now, just track Orochimaru's whereabouts and report them to me."
"Oh, and... will killing all the Sound ninjas here cause any issues for you?" Furen asked, referring to how he had slaughtered everyone upon entering the base.
"I'll handle it," Tayuya replied nonchalantly.
Furen nodded, stretched, and then glanced at Tayuya, who had already gotten dressed. "Come, help me get dressed."
Tayuya was momentarily stunned but then obediently climbed back onto the bed. However, she wasn't helping him get dressed.
Watching Tayuya get busy once again, Furen smiled and said, "Your summoning beast is too weak. I'll find a Monkey King summon for you soon..."
