For the first time since Kelvin gained his second ability, he stopped being able to see her. He also couldn't hear her voice. He didn't know how to feel about that.
He didn't know if Wrath was gone forever and what it would mean for his second ability. So his emotions were uncertain. But the one emotion that rose above all of this uncertainty is admiration and awe for the show of power.
