Kelvin didn't see Hermes leave. The boy was there one moment, and the next he was not. He didn't feel that it was strange. After all, the boy was supposed to be a god. He hadn't seen Hermes arrive, so it was not surprising that he couldn't see him leave.
Besides, he had other things on his mind to worry about. He had received a lot of information about things he didn't even know were possible.
He wondered to himself, "A planet can be given life? Wait a minute. So a planet has a consciousness that can be given life? Does hat mean I am standing on her body?"
