While this was going on, Kelvin was groaning and moaning in pain. First, it was the fall damage from when he was dropped from the sky. Next was the pain of his back being split open.
Nothing had hit him. At least, nothing he could see. Yet, the backs of every tiny clone had been cut.
It didn't matter where their backs were facing. It didn't matter which position they were in. It didn't matter if they moving or standing still. All of them were hit in the back and every one of them was almost split in half. If the cut had been any deeper, he would have died there and then.
He didn't know that the injury was because he was too close to the demigod when he made his move. But he knew that where he was wasn't safe, so he sought to escape.
