Chapter 2 - Luke's Favourite Spot

…

"Hey, Mira! Pour me another," The brunette card mage held his jug high as he sat beside Luke who ran his hand through his blonde hair and wrote on a piece of paper.

The brunette glanced down at him, "You still at it, Luke?"

Luke sat by the bar with a pen and paper in front of him, he flicked the pen about as he hummed at the calculations on the sheet in front of him, he barely heard his guildmate as he was deep in thought, "... I should be able to save 5,000 jewels this month which will take my savings up to 15,000 jewels…"

Luke began writing on the paper once more, he then scribbled out the calculation, "No, no… I have to also take Natsumi's banqueting into account…"

"Shit, you're really letting Natsumi bleed you dry," The brunette grinned against Luke's ear and began wiggling his fingers, "Is she going to pay you back?"

Luke shivered and shuffled away from the brunette.

"Hopefully, but definitely not in the way you're thinking, Kane..." The blonde let out a sigh and slouched onto the countertop.

Kane laughed as a silver-haired man approached the counter and filled Kane's cup to the brim.

"Thanks, Mira," Kane smiled from ear to ear as he took the cup to his lips. Kane Alberona was known as the drunkard of the guild, he had scruffy-waved dark brown hair that sat below his shoulders. He wore long brown trousers that cuffed halfway down his legs, along with brown open-toed slippers, he was bare-chested but had a great physique, his guild mark was black and sat on his left hip.

"No worries," The man known as Mira smiled brightly at the brunette.

He turned towards Luke whilst returning to wiping other glass cups and jugs, "Money problems again, Luke?"

Luke hummed in response as he sat up from his slouching position.

"Yeah... most of my money is used less on saving and being spent more on filling Natsumi's stomach," Luke grunted, he couldn't complain though, he enjoyed feeding Natsumi and Happy but the amount of money that left his pocket every time they visit a restaurant makes his heart ache a bit.

"Cheer up! Here, have this," The silver-haired man placed a still drink in front of Luke who squinted his eyes at the drink and gagged a little, "On the house,"

It was blueish-green in colour and looked like a milkshake, but at the same time, it didn't.

"Um… I'm sure I asked for a glass of pink lemonade, Mira," Luke looked up at the blue-eyed bartender, sure that he requested his favourite lemonade when he came in earlier.

Mira Strauss - Fairy Tail's Man of Mysteries, the god-send behind the bar, but behind that sexy, alluring smile was a Devil.

Mira stood behind the bar in a finely worn black suit, with the top button of the white shirt beneath being slightly undone. He had somewhat long silver hair that ran to his neck, with his frontal bangs being combed back behind his head and being held by a single elastic band.

"Oh, I know," Mira picked up a cloth and wiped another jug, "This drink here is one of my special beverages,"

"Consider yourself lucky!" A large lady elbowed Luke in the arm, "My brother makes the BEST drinks in the whole of Magnolia!"

"I believe you and I sit on different levels when it comes to taste, ElfLady," Luke chuckled.

ElfLady is the younger sister of Mira and the older sister to their youngest sibling, Leonardo Strauss. She has a large frame with tense and detailed muscles, she wears a dark red tank top, dark blue jeans, and sandals. Her long silver hair reaches midway to her back and she also has a small scar under her right eye, "Come on, where's your courage? Aren't you a MAN, Luke?"

"Eh, I'm not quite sure," Luke looks back at the sludge in the cup, and uses the straw to try and mix it.

"Like ElfLady said, Mira makes the best Slime Juice, Luke," Kane grinned at the Celestial Mage, "Come on, just try it,"

Luke raised a brow, "I don't know if your opinion is sound, Kane,"

"When have I ever lied to you, my dear friend," Kane smacked the blonde on the back a few times.

"Well…" Luke let out a breath, he picked up the cup and brought it to his lips, gently taking a sip. Immediately, his eyes sunk, and he coughed out the liquid, and punched at his chest whilst doing so.

ElfLady and Kane laughed at Luke's reaction along with Mira chuckling a little.

"Urgh! Why is it… so thick?" Luke gagged a bit more whilst looking down at the cup, tears threatening to pour out of his eyes. He moved the cup in circles and watched the liquid slowly move like sludge.

"Because it's Slime juice," Kane took Luke's cup from him and downed the sludge, taking large gulps as ElfLady stared in amazement and Luke stared in pure disgust. Kane kept going till the blueish-green sludge was completely emptied from the glass.

He slammed the glass on the countertop, "AH! That's it! You can't let good stuff like this go to waste, Luke,"

"Believe me, Kane, I think I'm good with letting something like that go to waste," Luke gasped for air, "That was terrible, blah..."

"You'll get used to it," Kane rolled his eyes at the blonde, "Oh yeah, I've got something for you,"

Kane pulled a small vial of blue juice out of his pocket, "This is the KEY to your money problems,"

"What exactly is that?" Luke caught his breath and sat comfortably on the stool once more.

"Bet it's some special alcohol that sends you into an astral state," ElfLady commented.

"Close, but no," Kane removed the cork, "Check it,"

Kane poured a small drop on his finger then dabbed it on his tongue and stared at the three who stared right back at him.

"Mmm, tastes like strawberries," Kane said with a more feminine tone.

Almost immediately, Kane's arms became thin, his hair fell longer, and his face appeared rounder than before, his strong chest instantly grew to full-sized breasts which he covered with his arms.

"Oh shit, it actually worked," Kane said with a feminine tone.

"What kind of potion is that? Is it Takeover-related? And why did you turn into a woman of all things?" Luke had so many questions, that his face slightly turned red.

"Transformation, yes. Takeover, no." Mira clarified as he tilted his head to the side at Kane's new appearance.

"Fufu~ So soft," Kane massaged his new round busts.

"This is so uncomfortable," ElfLady sighed.

"I second that," Luke felt odd, "What do we even call you?"

"Cana sounds pretty nice," Kane grinned from ear to ear as he continued to massage his new breasts.

"You're getting way too used to that," ElfLady covered her eyes in embarrassment.

"And how exactly will this help me, Kane?" Luke sighed.

"Slow down with the questions, buddy," Kane cupped his new pillows in his hands and grinned as he soon reverted to normal, "Hehe, you ever done some dancing?"

Luke raised a brow at first, he glanced at the potion then back up at Kane. Soon, his eyes widened, "Oh no, that's not happening, it's bad enough that Natsumi and Happy make me dance for travelling money every now and then..."

Kane got off his stool and wiggled his fingers as he approached Luke who also got off the stool and backed away, "Come on, let's see what you look like as a chick, Lukey~."

"You stay away from me, I'm NOT drinking your weird potion," Luke backed away as Kane got closer.

"Come on, it'll just be a sec," Kane pounced at the Celestial Mage.

As Luke tried to avoid Kane, three familiar faces entered the guild. Leo, Natsumi, and Happy walked alongside one another with sticks sticking out of their clothes and hair, and dirt patches all over their face and clothes.

"Now I know why Luke is always tired when he returns from a job with you guys," Leo said, slouched over as he trudged towards the bar.

"All in hopes of finding the next transformation that you need, Leo," Natsumi fist-pumped the air, "Now look, after defeating that monster for the old man, we finally got a clue for you,"

"Are you sure that old guy saw it?" Leo asked with his eyes wide open, he had a sling bag packed with a water bottle popping out of it.

"Yep! Why would we lie to you?" Happy chirped.

"He said it had purple-blue eyes like stars, pointy-fluffy ears, and sharp nine white tails with blue tips at the end and, and-" Natsumi tapped her chin before Happy chimed it.

"And it can fly!"

"Yeah!" Natsumi agreed alongside the Exceed, "Like, very high!"

"Really?" Leo smiled from ear to ear and took both of Natsumi's hands into his own, "You're doing me a big favour here, Natsumi! I can finally protect my big bro and sis, if what you're saying is true then..."

"I can get stronger..." Leo thought to himself.

Leonardo Strauss, also known as Leo, is the youngest sibling of the Strauss family; the balance that was once taken from both Mira and ElfLady. He had short silver hair, sea-blue eyes, and pale skin. He was sporting a light blue shirt with dark blue stripes on the sleeves, red-pink jeans and brown boots, although they were completely dirty due to the job he took with the Dragon Slayer earlier.

"Did you get the map for its whereabouts-" Leo let go of Natsumi's hands, stars shining in his eyes as he was determined to begin this journey. But the pinkette wrapped her arms around his head and rested her chin atop his head.

"Shhh! Are you out of your mind?" Natsumi furrowed her brows.

"What?" Leo said confused.

Happy descended beside Leo, until she was at the same height as his head, "This is a Super, Rare, Mythical, Legendary animal, it's as great as a Dragon and you just want to yell it all out?"

"Oh yeah, sorry," Leo hushed his voice down to whisper.

Natsumi let go of the transformation mage and huddled up with Happy as the two turned their backs to Leo and looked to be digging in Natsumi's jacket. After a minute or two of hushed whisperings and cackling, they turned around and presented a map to Leo.

The map had blotches of wet patches and it looked to be stained with some sort of unknown orange sauce.

The young Strauss sibling took the dirty brown map that was littered with squiggles and childish illustrations of hot spots across the map, "Is this it?"

"Were you expecting something sophisticated? We had to listen to the old man's ramblings and try our best with what he said. The trail is super secret, so we had to use our imagination," Happy said in defense.

"I see, well, thanks you two," Leo clutched the map and thrust it into his bag. He made his way towards the bar with Natsumi and Happy in tow.

ElfLady glanced at her younger brother, seeing him with his travelling bag, she stood to her feet, "Hey Leo, you going somewhere? Let me get my jacket and we will make our way out immediately,"

"No need, big sis, I'll be going on my own for this one," Leo shook his head.

"Oh, where are you off to now?" Mira asked, opening his eyes as he leaned on the countertop.

Leo unravelled the map in his hand and handed it to Mira who took it and looked at the map intensely.

"Ah, a solo adventure. I understand," Mira rolled up the map and handed it back to Leo, "Well, you be careful out there, and have fun,"

"I will. I promise to be home this time," Leo waved at his brother and sister and quickly hugged Natsumi, "Thanks again, Natsumi!"

Natsumi just grinned as she and Happy watched the Animal Transformation mage leave the guild. The two faced each other and smiled from ear to ear.

Natsumi wore her neutral grin before her eyes landed on a blonde woman beside her, the woman was voluptuous in figure, had golden yellow hair and wore... the same clothes as Luke.

"Who is this?" Happy peered around to get a good look at the young woman who was embarrassed to even glance up at the cat.

Kane sat on the stool beside where Natsumi was standing, he turned the vial upside down and shook the empty vial, "You just HAD to fuss around,"

Mira watched the entire situation, he isn't one to normally be surprised at things, but ever since Luke joined the guild, situations in here have gotten quite interesting.

And he couldn't help himself when an opportunity for more ridiculousness was right around the corner.

The Takeover Mage glanced at Natsumi then smiled from ear to ear, "This is Lucy, our newest member,"

"HUH?" The blonde flicked his head up, staring at the Devil behind the counter.

ElfLady shook her head and just focused on drinking her beverage.

Kane snickered with the most ridiculous grin on his face, "Yeah, her name is Lucy,"

"Welcome to Fairy Tail, Lucy!" Happy said with excitement, "I'm Happy!"

The Fire Dragon Slayer pointed at her chest with her thumb, "And I'm Natsumi-."

"I already know your name! It's me, Luke!"

Natsumi and Happy looked at one another and squinted their eyes at the blonde, "You don't look like Luke,"

"She's a fangirl of Luke, Natsumi," Kane chuckled as the blonde darted him a glare, "She dressed up like Luke, and came all this way to see our dear celestial mage~."

"Oh, really? If you want, we can try to help you find Luke. He should be somewhere around here... or at his apartment," Happy said cheerfully, doing a little dance.

The blonde sighed, annoyance present in their feminine tone as they rubbed their temple.

"It's quite surprising that Luke has a fangirl now, huh big bro?" ElfLady added.

"I can't believe it myself, but if he joins Sorcerer's Magazine as I advised, he can gain more fangirls in seconds," Mira also added.

"Pfft, Luke in suit pants with no shirt on... now that's blueballing the ladies a bit much," Kane chuckled.

"This is absolutely insane, I'm Luke! And how long does this thing last anyw-." But before they could finish, they felt Natsumi grab them by the collar and drag them off the stool, "Gah!"

"Let's waste no time! I'm sure Luke would love to meet you! Let's go, Happy!"

"Aye, ma'am!" Happy flew beside the Dragon Slayer.

"I just wanted to handle my finances, drink some lemonade, and enjoy the day, but noooo... that's just too much to ask for," The blonde thought to themselves as their feminine body flopped in the wind behind Natsumi as she dragged them along.

Mira covered his mouth, hiding a chuckle whilst Kane burst out laughing, slamming his fist on the counter.

"Kehehe, I-I'm gonna die! M-Mira, get me another drink, man," Kane cackled, almost falling off his stool.

At Luke's Apartment...

Happy planted her paws on the glass window, darting her head left and right as her eyes searched the apartment for the Celestial Mage, but he was nowhere to be seen.

She pushed herself off the window, her white wings keeping her in the air as she slowly descended to the pinkette and blonde.

"He's not there, Natsumi," Happy said with a saddened look.

"Hmm, it's not like Luke to not be home or at the guild, where else would he be... let's try and find him at his favourite places in Magnolia," Natsumi raised her arms in the air in excitement.

"Do you even know what his favourite places are?" Happy raised a brow at the Dragon Slayer who began to walk ahead.

"I have a slight idea of it, it'll be an adventure to try though," Natsumi said happily before glancing over at Lucy and walking backwards whilst doing so, "So, Lucy, where do you come from? And what magic do you use?"

"And what's your favourite meal? Meat or Fishies?" Happy's mouth began to water.

Lucy (Luke) glanced at both of them, walking in pace with them as they stared at him with wide, excited eyes, the blonde sighed, thinking to themself, "How do I find myself in these situations? But... I'm not really at a loss here, they both believe me to be a random fangirl, so it would be kind of hilarious to just go along with it..."

"Well... I can't really do magic, but I was hoping that Luke would teach me his..." Lucy (Luke) hummed gently as Natsumi held back a laugh.

"Why learn Celestial Magic when you can be a Dragon Slayer? A Fire one at that, right Happy?" Natsumi turned to her best friend also Wingman.

"Mhmm!" Happy nodded in agreement, folding her arms as she smiled from ear to ear, "Fire is a very convenient and useful tool for when we are travelling,"

"You can't cook meat with Celestial magic," Natsumi added, tilted her head up in pride along with the goofiest grin on her face.

Lucy (Luke) smiled and gave a smug grin at the two, "Can a Dragon Slayer summon cool spirits with awesome personalities that fight beside you?"

Both Natsumi and Happy's eyes sunk until they were just black dots that stared into space, "Uhh..."

"No? They can't? That's a shame," Lucy (Luke) walked past them, being ahead of them now, "Let's see if Luke is at the restaurant,"

Natsumi pouted and followed the blonde reluctantly with Happy in tow, "W-Well, I still think fire trumps Celestial magic,"

"And where do you come from?" Happy perked up, appearing right beside Lucy (Luke) as Natsumi still sulked about the fact she couldn't summon spirits with her Fire.

Lucy (Luke) tapped their soft round chin, and turned to the blue Exceed, "Guiltina,"

"I've never been, what's it like?" Happy's ears higher, twitching to receive this new information about Lucy's (Luke) homeland.

"That's something I can't leave up to the imagination, you have to see for yourself," Lucy (Luke) quickly said.

"Ah! It must be incredibly beautiful then," Happy cheesed, "Will you take me one day?"

"Sure," Lucy (Luke) smiled up at the blue cat.

"And me too!" Natsumi jumped at the blonde and grinned from ear to ear, her white-toothy grin made the blonde's cheeks rise in colour.

"S-Sure, Natsumi… I'll take you whenever you like…" Lucy (Luke) said without thinking.

Seeing Natsumi's bright smile always… did something to them, they're not sure whatsoever, but they'll worry about that when they need to.

Besides, they were eager to see if Natsumi could guess their "favourite" place to go in Magnolia.

At the Restaurant…

"Not here… mmf, either," Natsumi said before sinking her teeth into meat whilst Happy sat beside her arm on the table.

"Yep… obviously," Lucy (Luke) thought to themselves, sighing as they watched Natsumi demolish the food in front of her.

"Thanks for offering to pay for us, Lucy. We aren't very liquid when it comes to jewels," Happy murmured whilst speaking with a fish in her mouth but Lucy (Luke) managed to understand her.

"Oh, I can tell..." Lucy (Luke) sighed as they glanced down at their wallet under the table, their heart aching as their mind was counting down the amount they spend every day on food alone.

"This place… or any restaurant for that matter, is easily my least favourite place to visit," Lucy (Luke) thought to themself.

They shook their head and questioned the two, "So, are we here to find Luke or not? Because I doubt this is one of his favourite places to visit,"

"Mmm... she's got a point, Natsumi," Happy glanced up at the pinkette who was busy slurping up ropes of noodles into her mouth.

"What do you mean? Luke LOVES food, who doesn't?" Natsumi's cheeks bulged as she had a bit of noodles hanging off her lips.

"Think again, Natsumi," Happy bit into a medium-sized fish, "When's the last time you saw Luke happily eating with us?"

"When we partied in the Celestial Spirit realm, remember?" Natsumi raised a brow.

"OH! Your right... wait! But it was all free food, wasn't it?" Happy held a paw up.

"MMM! Yup, Luke doesn't like sharing his money, so that means..." Natsumi's eyes turn to stars alongside Happy, in which both of them turn to Lucy (Luke) and say in unison.

"He wouldn't be at the restaurant!"

Lucy (Luke) swore they went white from witnessing such cluelessness in a minute, it was like all that filled the air between them was dry air that blew past and drowned out all the noise in the restaurant.

The Dragon Slayer pouted a little, "Now that I think about it, Luke doesn't hang out anywhere else but at his home or the guild,"

"You think..." Lucy (Luke) thought as their eyebrow twitched.

"Any other places he may be at, buddy?" Natsumi turned to Happy.

Happy tilted her head up to the ceiling, thinking for a minute or so before looking back at Natsumi, "Southgate Park!"

The blonde tilted their head, and spoke, "The park?"

"Yup! Our lovely Southgate Park, it's a great area for sitting under the tree and reading, something Luke would love, right Natsumi?" The pinkette and the blue Exceed immediately got up and began making their way to the entrance with Lucy (Luke) reluctantly following in tow.

Happy turned to Natsumi who nodded foolishly in agreement, "Mhmm, mhmm,"

"When was the last time they saw me reading under a tree...?" Lucy's (Luke) eyebrows twitched with confusion.

Happy swiftly turned to Lucy (Luke), "You'll see, you'll love it!"

At Southgate Park…

Natsumi wore a pouty expression, glaring at the new sign that stood in front of the park.

Happy kept laughing, whilst Lucy (Luke) had their eyes closed and an expression of defeat being worn on their face.

An old man knocked his hammer on the head of the wooden sign with an illustrated design on.

"I don't get it..." Natsumi grunted.

"You heard me?! You're banned! Get out of here," The old man barked at the pinkette.

"Looks like even Luke is banned," Happy pointed at the sign once she calmed down from her laughter, a weak drawing of Natsumi and Luke on it with a big cross over the both of them.

"What did I even do to get banned?!" Natsumi stamped her feet on the ground repeatedly.

"I've done had it with you Fairy Tail punks?! Shooting your giant lasers everywhere, and messing up our park," The old man from the other day shook his fist in Natsumi's face.

He wore a puffy jacket that covered the entirety of his body except his hairy legs, he was almost bald but had three grey hairs sticking out of his head, his eyes were shut but he had mean eyebrows, was hunched over, and was skinny physique-wise.

"And who made you the king of the park, huh?" Natsumi clashed heads with the old man who pushed back against her.

"MEEE! I DID!" The old man gritted his teeth angrily, "We've had peace for seven years straight without any of your shenanigans, and I won't stand for it,"

"I did nothing wrong! It's my right to use magic wherever I like!" Natsumi responded, sticking her tongue out at the old man who backed away.

"How in the heck did I end up on the sign…" Lucy (Luke) thought to themself as they stared blankly at the sign with Happy calmly floating in the air beside him.

"Fine… if that's the case," The old man growled, "I demand a game of Wonder Hits to determine whether you can stay or not,"

Wonder Hits is a game where two players take punches from each other; the game starts off with normal punches and magic is restricted until both players pass 5 hits from one another. The players must agree on the location on the body where they can punch - both must agree on the same location for the game to commence.

"Now, now, we don't have to go that far," Lucy (Luke) stepped between the two, trying to defuse the situation, they turned to the Dragon Slayer and began making a pointing-in-the-opposite-direction gesture, "Let's just go, Natsu-."

"I accept!" Natsumi flexed her arm and smacked her bicep, her vein pulsating in her risen fist, "Me first! And I choose to punch you in the face,"

"What an indecent riff-raff, just who is raising you at that guild of yours," The old man grinned, "Either way, I accept,"

"Natsumi, he's just an old man," Lucy (Luke) waved their arms in front of the Dragon Slayer who simply ignored and marched forward, stopping right before the old man and towering over him.

Lucy (Luke) raised their brow at the sudden feeling of tension that rose between the old man and Natsumi. She threw her hand back and clenched it hard before throwing it right into the right side of the old man's face, and surprisingly, the man remained still, not being thrown off balance and just staring at Natsumi with his mean expression.

Natsumi pulled her hand back and stared at the old man with her fists on her hips, "Your turn, old man,"

"Yes, my turn..." The old man firmly grasped his jacket and removed it with ease; his entire torso and arms bulged strongly; his pectorals glistened as well as his abs.

He raised his fist and clenched it hard, his veins pulsating against his skin as if trying to escape.

Lucy (Luke) and Happy's eyes widened at the man's physique, while his proportions were quite… odd, his appearance still struck at them.

"Luke isn't here anyways, so let's go-." Happy wafted over to the pinkette.

"I won't back down…" Natsumi furrowed her brows as she was determined to win this game, "As long as my friends are here with me-"

"Please don't get us involved in this," Lucy (Luke) chimed in with an annoyed expression on their face, with the amount of trouble Natsumi can drag them into, they already know how this is going to go.

Happy gently waved at Natsumi, "Yeah, we wouldn't want to bring bad luck to your incoming victory,"

Natsumi turned to the two, "Bad luck? You're my buddy, Happy! You're supposed to be supporting me-."

*SMACK!*

Later...

The day went by swiftly, and the three had no luck with finding Luke yet, and Natsumi certainly wasn't happy. The three made their way back to the Fairy Tail Guild with Lucy (Luke) and Happy tailing Natsumi who was ahead.

Natsumi brought the ice pack to her swollen eye and groaned a bit more, her lips blown up with a shade of purple, "Man, that old man can throw a hit,"

"That's the power of the previous generation," Happy chuckled.

"In conclusion, respect your elders, Natsumi," Lucy (Luke) said with their arms folded.

"We're lucky he didn't suggest a wager, boy, would we be in trouble," Happy sat upon Lucy's (Luke) head.

"Mmm…" Natsumi hummed.

She looked up at the clouds that drifted above Magnolia, the setting sun winking at them as the light glared off of the surrounding building's windows, "He got lucky, I'll win next time, and be allowed into the park…"

"Did you even hear what we just said?" Lucy (Luke) shook their head.

The three continued in silence till they stood in front of the closed doors of the Fairy Tail Guild.

"Hey Lucy, sorry we couldn't find Luke for you, but hopefully we'll see him tomorrow," Happy raised a paw with a big smile on her face, "We really aren't so sure about Lukey's favourite spots,"

Natsumi pouted, folding her arms in a huff, "Because you don't keep record of it,"

"Don't turn this on me. I'm not your backup memory bank, Natsumi," Happy turned to the Dragon Slayer and lightly began to smack her fluffy pink hair with small karate chops, "You spend more time with Lukey than me. Do I need to reset your brain or something?"

"The person who needs a brain reset is Luke, he didn't even bother to invite a lady to wherever he went… oww," Natsumi winced and held her face, "You think he went on a job?"

"Maybe…" Happy nodded then her eyes shot wide open as she suddenly turned to Natsumi, followed by an exaggerated gasp, "With a high jewel reward?!"

Natsumi gasped next, and turned to Happy, "That jerk! He's at an expensive buffet without us!"

"That has to be it! Luke hates sharing his money!" Happy flew higher into the air, her wings flapping out widely.

Lucy (Luke) stared at the two, "Didn't you both establish earlier that he doesn't-"

"When I get my hands on him, I'm going to make sure he learns to never leave me behind again!" Natsumi raised her fist with her other hand holding the ice pack to her swollen face.

"Never mind..." Lucy (Luke) slouched a bit and sighed. He rested his somewhat soft hand on his chest which began to decrease in size, making him blink at the slow transformation back to his normal self.

Whilst this was happening, Natsumi and Happy were still going on their tirade.

"He's going to eat my fire for such a betrayal, right Happy?" Natsumi tightened her fist.

"Aye, Ma'am! I'll make sure to hit him with the biggest fish I can find," Happy cheered, "Then to top it all off, we'll demand a sleepover,"

Natsumi clicked her fingers, "Nice one, Happy! We'll be able to get the bed-"

"You two are not sleeping in my bed," Luke said with a deepened tone that made Natsumi and Happy jump in unison at his sudden appearance.

"WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?" Natsumi's eyes bulged right out of her head.

Luke chuckled.

He was glad to be normal once again, being a woman for almost the whole day was... interesting to say the least, but he loved being in his actual body. Right now the only thing on his mind was getting some rest and then strangling Kane when he had the energy to do so, that Transformation potion did nothing but take him away from an actual task he was supposed to be paying attention to.

He DEFINITELY did not want to go down a trip like that EVER again.

"I was on a job," Luke responded nonchalantly, acting clueless about all of this.

"Without us?!" Happy smacked Luke's forehead lightly, tears running down her face.

"Yeah, did you expect me to take you with me?" Luke raised a brow.

"OBVIOUSLY?!" Natsumi and Happy barked in unison which made Luke jump this time, "We're your friends, you should be taking us everywhere,"

"And treating us to food, we've been starving all day," Happy pouted.

"Now, I know that's a lie," Luke grinned, "So, who was that girl that was with you earlier?"

"OH RIGHT! This is-" Natsumi turned to find their voluptuous new friend missing, "Where did she go?"

"She was just right here," Happy said with a somewhat saddened tone, "She was looking forward to meeting you, she was a big fan,"

"Really?" Luke acted surprised.

"So, we took her to all of your favourite places in Magnolia!" Happy wagged her paw around, "The restaurant, Southgate Park, the clothing store,"

"Those all sound like my least favourite places to visit in Magnolia," Luke slowly shook his head, acting disappointed as he folded his arms, "Man, you two really don't know my favourite place, do you?"

"I told you we should have checked the house," Natsumi nudged Happy.

"That's not even on my least favourite list," Luke said, making that final.

"Hey! Our house isn't the best on the outside, but it is on the inside," Natsumi pouted at the Celestial mage who just rolled his eyes at her delusion.

The three laugh it off before Happy speaks up once more.

"I do hope Lucy visits us again," Happy adds in.

"She wanted to learn Celestial magic instead of Dragon Slayer Magic, what a weird choice," Natsumi pouted.

Luke laughed a little, playfully rolling his eyes, "Not so weird to me,"

"I heard that..." Natsumi pouted, placing her fists on her hips with Happy folding her arms, "And where do you think you're going?"

"Huh?" Luke turned around to face the two, but before he could fully turn around, Natsumi grabbed Luke by the collar and ran ahead with Happy following close by.

"You owe us an adventure, we are going on a job!"

"At this time?! I literally just got back from a job!" Luke's eyes widened.

"Yeah, by yourself," Natsumi grinned from ear to ear.

"You two can't be seriou-."

"We are! We were bored all day without you!" Happy glanced at the blonde with a cheerful grin on her round face.

"It was awesome hanging with Lucy, but it's not an adventure without you!" Natsumi let go of Luke's collar and held his hand, pulling him further along as he got used to the pace and caught up with the two.
