-{The Next Day...}-
As Soren woke up from a dreamless slumber, he could tell that the Wendigo from last night left the area of his campsite though kept itself relatively close. There was something about knowing this was the day that Sam and Dean would return to Blackwater Ridge thinking they were going to fight a skinwalker, but they'd actually be fighting a Wendigo.
Chuckling to himself as he got up from bed--the blanket he slept under slightly falling down to reveal his devilishly attractive yet powerful form--Soren began to wander out of his tent to the welcoming sight of a lit Hunter's Lamp and a vague outline of the dual Protego spells. He knew that there would not be much time to prepare for when Sam and Dean were to arrive at Tommy's campsite, but Soren was not feeling much fear in this scenario.
Despite knowing that the Wendigo was trying to look at him through the foliage and remained mostly unaffected by the sunlight, Soren thought it was more akin to a naughty starving puppy than an actual supernatural threat. Perhaps it is due to the fact he survived through the end of his original world for two decades or the Paleblood of the Old Ones in his veins, but it really did not seem to illicit much fear or apprehension from Soren.
As for the handsome Non-Human protagonist, he quickly used his [Inventory] ability to switch from his underpants--as he both had a feeling if he was completely naked there was going to be a lot of Hell coming for him in the future and that he wasn't willing to give the peeping Wendigo a free show--to his normal clothing. Fortunately, this included having his clothes magically cleaned considering he learned the Scourgify spell during his seven years at Hogwarts.
With his devilishly hot body that would make even those demons from the DC multiverse slightly envious fully clothed, Soren dodged a massive bullet in the form of his yandere lover trying to murder everything in the world for laying eyes on his precious Kitty. Despite knowing that most people in this universe--especially during the Kripke era--were of the so-called "traditional orientation" and Soren would have to explain to the females who tried to come after him--as he already explained to those girls during his high school and college years--that he was very much gay and unable to reciprocate their feelings, that did not deter Soren from appreciating the few friends who knew of his same-sex desires and accepted them.
Hence why he was not willing to make due with the Wendigo trying to score a free peek at what he's packing in his pants.
Sexual desires and innuendo aside, Soren looked up at an angle as to avoid his eyes being burned by the sunlight to see the rough position of the sun overhead. It was roughly ten o' clock in the morning and it looked like the Winchesters showed up about high noon though that'd be a give or take thirty minutes.
This meant Soren had roughly two hours to get things prepared and play out the unaware foolish human male that knows absolutely nothing about the supernatural side of things in order to fool the Winchester boys. He knew things were going to get dicey for the next couple of days as he had to wait for the Winchesters to play catch up to what they were hunting and where the Wendigo made its lair.
From what Soren recalled of the plot--in thanks to Eidetic Memory and a type of Mind Palace he personally made--he knew that there was an abandoned mineshaft nearby in these woods where Tommy and his friends were being held and stored as food for the ravenous creature. While he could screw the plot of Supernatural and save Tommy in part due to his meta-knowledge, that would only end up attracting the attention of Chuck and it'd be game over for his plans in the future.
Yeah, he'd rather stay under Chuck's radar instead of dealing with him and his massive ego when it comes to his "favorites" along with the show they give him. Even if this System was far more powerful than Chuck and his sister--let alone even them both combined like towards the end of the series--Soren was not willing to step out of line just to help clean up the mess.
With a sharp exhale of breath at how complex his future was going to become, Soren quickly started to pack up his tent and other camping gear using his wand. An aspect of choosing to use the Wizarding World's magic system in comparison to the one that actually exists in Supernatural is the freedom and versatility it has compared to the rigidity the latter has.
Hell, it was even shown in the series that Rowena needed a whole bunch of catalysts and a long incantation to cast the spell that removed the Mark of Cain from Dean.
Soren preferred function over form, but considering the survival skills he gained over twenty years, a few layers of simplicity would be very appreciated in this new world that has not yet neared the start of the first Apocalypse arc. That particular arc of the series was going to require a lot of wit and skill to outwit the Angels that want to bring an end to this planet.
A problem for future Soren though.
Within a hour of using his wand, his entire campsite was packed up and stuffed into his [Inventory]. This did nothing to prevent the Hunter's Lamp from staying around, but did help to bring down the dual Protego spells.
Soren then looked over in the direction of Tommy's campsite and made his way towards it. This did little to assuage Soren from his firm determination to trick the Winchesters and even give them an ally in the shadows in the upcoming fight for the planet against the Angels and Demons.
