The guardian let out a low, rumbling groan, attempting to break free, but Tierra's behemoth pressed its advantage. The behemoth roared, its massive limbs cracking through the ancient bark, shaking the very ground beneath them. The guardian's resistance crumbled like the stone that composed its body. Finally, with a deafening crack, the forest guardian fell, defeated.
Tierra knelt beside her behemoth, placing a hand on its thick hide. "You did well," she whispered, her voice soft and reverent. "But we still have more to learn."
