Region: 138, City: Shitori
Place: National School of Shitori
Unknown voice: "Hey!... Morgan, the major told us there's a mission tonight."
Morgan: "Alright, Cris. I'll let Nick and Ameli know today."
Cris: "By the way, where are they?"
The scene opens with the Hyeok siblings scattered around the school. The school bustle surrounds Morgan and Cris as they talk on some bleachers.
Morgan Hyeok, the eldest of the siblings, is a natural leader. His gift of spirit invocation makes him a valuable strategist. His decisions are quick, and his power allows him to call upon fallen heroes or warriors in battle when he needs them most.
Morgan is a boy with brown hair, styled in a book cut. He wears a patch over his right eye, while his left eye is brown. He's dressed in the school uniform.
Cris Hyeok, the second eldest, has an incredible power: atom control. His ability gives him the power to alter matter at a microscopic level, decompose objects, or create structures invisible to the human eye.
Cris is a boy with brown hair, with fallen curls and brown eyes. He wears glasses for vision and his respective school uniform.
Morgan: "Nick is in the boxing workshop and Ameli is in the arts workshop. I'll let them know now."
/ Arts Room /
Ameli Hyeok, the youngest sister, was completely focused on a painting. Her gift, drawing projection, allows her to bring anything she draws into reality, making her a creator of essential tools during missions.
Ameli is a girl with short black hair. Her eyes are onyx-colored, and she wears round glasses that frame her face. She's dressed in a painter's outfit.
Ameli: "Morgan told me we have a mission tonight... I'd better finish this quickly."
/ Gymnasium /
In the gym, Nick Hyeok, with his fighting spirit, was training hard. This gift allowed him to access superhuman strength and endurance, making him invincible in hand-to-hand combat.
Nick is a boy with shoulder-length curly brown hair. His eyes are brown, and his torso was bare, showing his defined and muscular figure. He was wearing boxing gloves.
Upon receiving Morgan's message, Nick left his training, knowing the mission would require all his physical prowess.
Hours later – The Hyeok House
The four siblings arrived at their house after a long day at school. As usual, they were talking about their classes and training.
Felix Hyeok, their adoptive father, was waiting for them. Although short in stature compared to Nick, his gift of spiritual fire allowed him to control fire at will, a devastating power in combat. Known as "The Butcher," Felix had trained his children not only in handling their powers but also in discipline and strategy.
Felix: "Hello kids, I hope your day was good... because tonight you have an important mission."
The siblings looked at each other, knowing this meant something serious.
Felix: "The mission is to infiltrate an industrial warehouse and steal information from a central computer. You know the routine, but this time there's more at stake. The information is key to preventing a major conflict in the region."
Night at the Hyeok House – The Arsenal
The kids went down to the basement, where the Hyeok's underground base was located, filled with weapons and special suits. The place was equipped with everything they might need for their clandestine operations.
Felix: "Remember, teamwork is crucial. Morgan, you'll lead the mission. Cris, your ability to control atoms will be essential for deactivating systems and opening doors without leaving a trace. Ameli, your gift of projection will allow us to create any tool you need during the mission. Nick, you're the shock force. I trust you can protect your siblings if things get complicated."
Morgan: "Understood, old man. We go in, extract the data, and get out quickly."
At the Omega Industrial Warehouse
The warehouse was huge, and the lights flickered dimly in the night. The siblings approached cautiously, analyzing the place.
Morgan: "Ameli, create a duplicate of the access cards."
Ameli quickly took out her notebook and started drawing. In a matter of seconds, identical cards appeared in her hand.
Ameli: "Here you go. This should open the main doors."
They used the cards to access the building. Once inside, they found a series of security cameras.
Cris: "Leave it to me."
With a simple movement of his hand, Cris decomposed the circuits of the cameras, rendering them useless.
Morgan: "Well done, let's continue."
First obstacle: Guards
They advanced through the corridors when suddenly, two armed guards appeared.
Nick: "It's my turn."
With speed and strength, Nick disarmed the guards before they could even react. He left them unconscious on the floor.
Nick: "Done. Let's move on."
Second obstacle: Advanced lock
They reached a security door that blocked access to the central computer. The system was impenetrable by normal means.
Morgan: "Cris, can you decompose it?"
Cris: "Not exactly. This door has a self-regenerating system, but I can alter the atoms of the lock to give us access for a limited time."
With incredible precision, Cris manipulated the atoms of the lock, allowing them to enter before the system reset.
In the control room, they found the central computer. Ameli quickly drew an interface that allowed them to hack the system without being detected.
Morgan: "Downloading the data... but something's not right."
The alarms began to sound. The guards mobilized quickly.
Morgan: "Nick, get ready!"
The guards arrived in a matter of seconds. Morgan, knowing the situation was getting complicated, decided to use his gift. He removed the patch from his right eye, allowing the spirits to surround him.
One of the invoked heroes, an ancient warrior, lunged at the guards, giving the kids the time they needed to finish stealing the data.
Morgan: "Everyone, to the extraction point!"
With the data in their possession, they left the warehouse just as reinforcements were arriving. Morgan invoked the spirit of a fallen hero pilot to open a portal for them, allowing the siblings to escape to a safe place.
Back in the underground base, Felix was waiting for them.
Felix: "Mission accomplished. I knew you could handle it."
Morgan: "We did it thanks to teamwork."
The siblings, exhausted but satisfied, knew they had completed another successful mission, but also that this wouldn't be the last.
/scene change/
The scene opens in a dark and desolate alley. Reith walks slowly, with staggering steps, his body covered in wounds. His breathing is accelerated, the pain evident in every movement. His eyes, hidden under the weight of fatigue, struggle to stay open. Blood drips from a wound on his arm and his clothes are torn, stained by the fight.
Reith reaches the alley wall and lets himself fall to the ground, leaning his back against the cold concrete. He closes his eyes for a moment, trying to regulate his breathing, but the pain in his side makes him gasp.
Reith (thinking): "Damn illusionist... almost killed me..."
The sound of distant traffic and the echo of footsteps mix in the distance, but for Reith, the world begins to fade as he immerses himself in his memories.
Hours ago, at Victor's base...
Reith was in the dark operations room, sitting in front of Victor. The flickering light dimly illuminated the room, reflecting Victor's serious face as he was receiving reports on a screen.
Victor: "We have a new mission for you, boy. This time, it's more dangerous than the previous ones."
Reith crosses his arms, his mask resting on the table in front of him. Although he had faced dangers before, Victor's grave tone made him tense.
Reith: "What's it about this time?"
Victor: "Classified files from the Shitori Corporation. According to our reports, they contain critical information that could destabilize the region. Your objective is to infiltrate one of their underground laboratories and extract that data before they transfer it."
Reith nodded, listening attentively as Victor continued.
Victor: "However, there's a problem. They have a villain protecting the facilities. His gift is illusion. He manipulates reality at will, creating scenarios that seem real. Few survive his deception, so don't let your guard down."
Reith frowned. Illusions were a difficult enemy, even with his abilities.
Reith: "Understood. I'll go prepared."
Victor: "Remember, you only have a few hours before they transfer the information. Do it quickly and with as little contact as possible. You have your abilities, but this guy is dangerous. If you feel you can't do it, retreat."
Reith stood up, grabbing his mask and slowly putting it on, with the hollow eyes illuminated by a faint purple glow.
Reith: "I'll be back with those files."
/scene jump/
The mission started without problems. Reith infiltrated the underground laboratory using his super-speed ability to move between the shadows. He used his gravity control power to deactivate some of the traps in the corridors, making the sensors unable to detect him. When he reached the server room, the lights flickered.
Reith (thinking): "Too easy..."
Suddenly, the environment changed. The floor beneath his feet distorted, and the walls seemed to melt. The temperature dropped drastically, and Reith felt his perception becoming blurry.
A sinister laugh echoed in the room.
Villain: "Did you really think you could enter here so easily? This is my domain, and now you're trapped in my illusion."
Reith drew his weapons, prepared for anything. But the images he saw around him were constantly changing. One moment, he was in the laboratory; the next, in a desert plain, with the sky falling on him.
Reith: "Damn illusionist!"
Concentrating, Reith activated his power system, trying to discern the true nature of the villain. Little by little, reality began to unmask itself, but the fight wasn't easy. The villain played with his mind, and although Reith managed to dodge some of his attacks using his super strength and speed, each blow he received felt as if it pierced his skin and muscles with fire.
Reith (thinking): "I can't trust what I see... but I can trust what I feel."
Using his gravity expansion ability, Reith tried to control the environment, increasing the weight of everything around him to destabilize the illusionist. But the enemy kept moving like a shadow, blurring the boundaries of what was real.
Reith fought, increasingly wounded and exhausted. But in a last effort, he used what was left of his energy to focus his ability to visualize powers and track the villain, revealing his true position among the illusions.
With a quick movement, he launched a precise attack, piercing through the illusions. The villain fell to the ground, wounded and unconscious, but Reith had also received considerable damage. He took the files from the computer with the hacking device and left the building before reinforcements arrived.
Reith opens his eyes again, panting. Still sitting on the ground, he observes the dim lights of the city flickering in the distance. He has accomplished his mission, but at a high cost.
Reith (thinking): "I did it... but I almost didn't make it."
Leaning against the wall, Reith struggles to stand up, determined to return to the base, despite the pain consuming him.
Reith advanced through the silent streets of the city, still staggering. His body was covered in makeshift bandages that could barely contain the flow of blood from his wounds. Despite everything, he maintained a firm, albeit slow, pace. The night sky covered him, but his thoughts were focused on one thing: returning to the base and delivering the files.
Upon reaching the abandoned building where the operations base was located, Reith forced open the rusty metal door and went down the stairs to the basement. Each step was an effort, but he had made it. In front of the large metal door, he placed a hand on the security panel, and the door opened with a loud creak.
Inside, Victor was waiting for him, sitting in his usual leather chair, arms crossed. Upon seeing Reith, his expression hardened, immediately noticing the boy's wounds.
Victor: "Well, boy... looks like the mission wasn't as clean as you expected."
Reith collapsed into the chair in front of Victor, pulling a device from his jacket. He was breathing with difficulty but managed to sketch a slight smile, a sign that he had accomplished his objective.
Reith: "I did it... although the damn illusionist almost killed me. I had to... use everything I had to find him among his tricks."
Victor took the device and placed it on the table in front of him. He examined it briefly before turning his gaze back to Reith.
Victor: "You faced the illusionist? That guy is known for mentally destroying his opponents... How did you manage to get out?"
Reith breathed deeply, his body still shaking from exhaustion.
Reith: "His gift was a problem... nothing was real, everything seemed like a trap... but I used the power system to locate him. I was able to expand gravity and disorient him, but it cost me a lot. I barely managed to escape before things got worse."
Victor nodded, with an expression of respect on his face. He knew Reith had been in a critical situation, but he also knew that the boy had the ability and tenacity to survive.
Victor: "You did well, boy. You've got guts... more than many of my old comrades ever had. Now, go rest. We'll deal with the files later."
Reith stood up slowly, his body protesting with every movement.
Reith: "I need a shower... and something strong for the pain."
Victor sketched a slight smile, the kind of smile he only showed when he was proud.
Victor: "Go, you deserve it. We'll talk later."
Reith nodded and slowly withdrew, leaving Victor with the device in hand and the satisfaction of knowing that, once again, he had survived to fulfill his duty.
