After Apha made the comment, Lucian had received a quick shiver as the hallucination of Euryale in serpent form appeared. It had coiled around his body and pressed tightly against him, the warmth of the snake giving him a serious chill.
He had looked over to the distance and saw the figure of the young girl from before; the hallucination of her apparent sister. She was staring at him, the mere sight of her cold eyes were enough to shake Lucian to his core. He didn't know how to react, but his instinct was for his face to show no emotion or reaction.
The hallucination of Euryale suddenly dissipated and Lucian blinked, the young girl disappearing from sight. There was something digging at the back of his mind which began to bother him. He knew that he had to remember whatever it is that happened and Euryale's hallucination knew exactly what it was that he had forgotten.
