In the Beginning, there was nothing. Nothing in the vast universe that would become home of all the realms; the Demonic, The Fey, and the Mortal Realms. It was just an empty space, becoming much bigger as time pas-well....time wasn't a concept back then.
One would think of this universe as a massive, expanding sphere that sometimes distorts itself inwards, twisting and turning, creating powerful cosmic energies. This is due to the pressure of the extradimensional vortex of super-energy that borders this universe, The Soulway. Beyond the reaches of the Universe is nothing but the Soulway, spreading into what seems like Infinity, layering dimensions and stitching them upon each other.
