Chapter 16 - C:16

### Episode 16: "The One with Two Parts: Part 1"

*(Featuring Rosé's New Look and Monica & Rachel Fawning Over Him, Following the Original Plot)*

---

**Opening Scene: Central Perk**

The episode begins in Central Perk, with the gang gathered around their usual spot. Joey and Chandler are lounging on the couch, cracking jokes about Chandler's latest embarrassing moment at work. Phoebe is humming a new song she's working on while Ross reads over some paleontology notes. Monica and Rachel walk in, arms full of shopping bags, chatting about their day.

As they approach the couch, Rachel's eyes catch something—and she stops in her tracks. Rosé, usually dressed in his signature long-sleeve t-shirts and leather jackets, is sitting by the window, completely engrossed in a book. But today, he's wearing something entirely different: a fitted white t-shirt that shows off his muscular arms, white jeans, and matching white shoes. His tattoos, normally hidden, are exposed, running along his arms in intricate designs. His short white hair glistens in the afternoon sunlight, and his different-colored eyes—one black, one silver—are focused intensely on the pages of his book.

**Rachel:** (whispering to Monica) "Oh. My. God. Is Rosé... wearing *that*?"

Monica, who has also stopped mid-step, looks over and immediately feels her heart skip a beat. Rosé, usually so mysterious and quietly handsome, looks even more striking in the casual outfit. The tattoos add an edge to his otherwise calm demeanor, and the way he's focused on his book only makes him more intriguing.

**Monica:** (whispering back) "I know, right? Who knew he had tattoos? I mean, how could he hide all *that* under those long sleeves?"

**Rachel:** (fanning herself with one hand) "Is it just me, or did it suddenly get really hot in here?"

They giggle quietly to themselves before composing their expressions and walking over to join the rest of the group, though their eyes keep flickering back toward Rosé, who remains oblivious to their staring.

**Scene Shift: Conversation at Central Perk**

As they sit down, Joey notices that Monica and Rachel are a bit distracted, glancing over at Rosé more than usual.

**Joey:** (grinning) "What's up with you two? Did you see a celebrity or something?"

**Rachel:** (quickly) "No! No, nothing like that. Just... looking around."

**Chandler:** (teasing) "Looking around at *Rosé*, you mean."

Rachel and Monica exchange embarrassed glances but say nothing, while Phoebe looks over at Rosé too, intrigued by his new look.

**Phoebe:** (genuinely) "Wow, Rosé, you look different today. I didn't know you had tattoos. They're... beautiful."

Rosé looks up from his book, flashing a calm smile.

**Rosé:** "Thanks, Phoebe. I don't usually show them off, but I thought I'd try something different today."

His voice is steady, and his demeanor remains as cool as ever, but Monica and Rachel both feel their hearts race again. There's something magnetic about him, especially now that they're seeing this new, more relaxed side of him.

**Monica:** (trying to act casual) "So... Rosé, what are you reading?"

**Rosé:** (glancing down at his book) "It's a philosophical text on human connection and emotions. I like exploring how people relate to each other on deeper levels."

**Rachel:** (biting her lip) "Of course. Philosophy. You know, casual weekend reading."

Chandler and Joey exchange amused glances as Monica and Rachel continue to fawn silently over Rosé.

**Chandler:** (to Joey, under his breath) "Looks like someone's got competition for the title of 'Central Perk heartthrob.'"

**Joey:** (grinning) "Hey, I'm still Joey Tribbiani. But I get it... he's got the whole 'mysterious vibe' thing going on."

**Scene Shift: Monica and Rachel's Apartment**

Later that evening, back at Monica and Rachel's apartment, the two roommates are lounging in the living room, recounting the day. Rachel is still thinking about Rosé's tattoos and how effortlessly cool he looked. Monica, who's been fidgeting with a magazine, is clearly preoccupied with similar thoughts.

**Rachel:** (sighing) "I mean, how does he do it? He just... walks into a room, and suddenly everyone's staring. It's like he's got this natural presence."

**Monica:** (nodding) "Yeah, and it's not just how he looks. He's always so calm and composed, like he knows something the rest of us don't."

**Rachel:** (grinning) "Plus, those tattoos? Seriously. He's got this whole 'mysterious and slightly dangerous' thing going on. But in a good way."

They laugh together, but there's a noticeable tension between them. Both Monica and Rachel have been subtly fawning over Rosé for weeks, and it's becoming harder for them to hide their feelings—even from each other.

**Monica:** (changing the subject) "Anyway, enough about Rosé. What are we doing for the rest of the night?"

Just then, the phone rings. Rachel answers it, and after a brief conversation, she hangs up with a surprised expression.

**Rachel:** "That was Phoebe. She wants us to help her babysit a friend's kids. Are you in?"

**Monica:** (reluctant) "Babysitting? Really?"

**Rachel:** "Come on, it'll be fun! Besides, I think Rosé might be coming along."

Monica perks up at the mention of Rosé, trying to hide her excitement.

**Monica:** "Well, in that case... I'm in."

---

**Scene Shift: The Babysitting Disaster**

The gang arrives at the apartment of Phoebe's friend, where they've volunteered to help her babysit. As they walk in, it's clear that this is going to be more challenging than expected—the kids are full of energy, running around and causing chaos.

**Phoebe:** (nervously) "Okay, everyone, just... try to keep them entertained. I've got a guitar, coloring books, and... well, just go with it!"

**Rachel:** (laughing) "This is going to be a disaster."

Despite the chaos, Rosé remains calm and composed, even as one of the kids clings to his leg, refusing to let go.

**Kid:** (grinning) "You're cool! I like your tattoos."

Rosé crouches down, smiling at the kid.

**Rosé:** "Thanks. Want to see how I can make them move?"

The kid nods enthusiastically, and Rosé flexes his arm slightly, making the designs on his tattoos shift subtly with his muscles. The kid is fascinated, and soon, the other children gather around Rosé, watching in awe as he shows off simple tricks with his tattoos and tells them quiet, calming stories.

**Rachel:** (to Monica, watching) "Okay, that's it. He's officially perfect. He's got the mysterious vibe, the tattoos, and now he's great with kids?"

**Monica:** (sighing) "Yeah, we're in trouble."

While Rosé is busy with the children, Chandler and Joey are failing spectacularly at keeping the rest of the kids entertained. Joey tries to tell jokes, but they go over the kids' heads, and Chandler's attempt at sarcasm only confuses them further.

**Chandler:** (frustrated) "How do people do this every day? Is there some kind of secret kid language I don't know about?"

---

**Scene Shift: The Aftermath**

Later, after the kids have finally calmed down, the group collapses onto the couch, exhausted. Rosé, as usual, looks completely unfazed, while the others are clearly worn out from the experience.

**Phoebe:** (grinning) "Well, that was fun! Thanks for helping, everyone."

**Joey:** (groaning) "Fun? I think I need a nap... or a drink."

As the gang prepares to leave, Rachel catches Rosé's attention.

**Rachel:** (playfully) "You were great with the kids tonight. I didn't know you had that side to you."

**Rosé:** (smiling) "Kids are easy. They just want someone to listen to them. Plus, I used to babysit my nieces and nephews."

Rachel smiles, but there's a clear spark between them, and Monica, watching from the other side of the room, feels it too. It's becoming harder for her to deny her own growing feelings, especially when she sees how effortlessly Rosé connects with everyone.

As the group leaves Phoebe's friend's apartment, the tension between Monica and Rachel is palpable. Neither of them wants to admit it, but both are starting to realize that they're more than a little interested in Rosé—and it's only a matter of time before those feelings come to the surface.
