SCARLET
"Love at first sight? What is that?" I asked Grimmy, looking at Grimmy. This is the first time I heard that word.
"It is the feeling of an instant, powerful connection to someone you've just met," Grimmy explained in its calm voice. "Many describe it as being drawn to a person as though an invisible thread binds your souls together."
I frowned, resting my chin on my hand. "That sounds... a bit dramatic. How can you feel that strongly about someone you don't even know?"
Grimmy let out a soft hum, as though amused by my skepticism. "It may seem irrational, but love at first sight is less about knowing and more about feeling. It's not about their story, their habits, or even their personality, those take time to learn. It's an unspoken pull, like recognizing something familiar in a stranger."
I tilted my head, processing what it said. "So, it's not really love, then? Just attraction?"
