SCARLET Point Of View
The dragon riding competition was finally here. I took a deep breath, feeling both excitement and nerves buzzing inside me. Thankfully, I'd had enough time to rest and recover, so I wasn't sidelined like Sera had been for her event. I glanced over at the other competitors, each one paired with their own dragon, ready to take flight.
I brought Grimmy along with me, my magical book that knows a lot of things. It would help me navigate the forest and understand any magic cast on it.
To my surprise, Rainbow, my pet, had sneaked into my bag. I only noticed once we'd already left. She must have been bored of staying alone in the dorm, so I decided to let her tag along.
My companion for this event is Draco, my real dragon. Most students use dragons conjured from magic, but I'm the only one competing with an actual dragon by my side.
