Micah leaned against a tree, breathing hard as well. "What… what was that thing?" she asked, her eyes wide with lingering fear.
Draco let out a low growl, still alert and watching the shadows around us. I shook my head. "I don't know... But wait a minute, why did we even run? We have Draco with us, we can just fly up in the sky," I said.
Micah chuckled. "That's what happened when we panicked" she said.
"Right. Anyway, let's find another way" I suggested. We're here for rare gems. So... that's my priority.
As we walked through the monster forest, we spotted some strange creatures—friendly ones we'd never seen before. With Grimmy's guidance, I was able to tell which monsters were safe to approach and which we needed to avoid.
