MISSION – SAVE THE CLIENTS BY DRIVING THEM TO SAFETY
The world spins and morphs around me again, my stomach lurching as the scene transforms. When it settles, I'm gripping the steering wheel of a roaring, sand-covered vehicle in the middle of a blinding desert. My hands, slick with sweat, clutch the leather as though my life depends on it—because it does.
The desert sun blazes down on us, making the horizon shimmer. Sand kicks up in thick clouds as I swerve, narrowly dodging rocks and ditches. My passengers—two robed Sultans—are shouting in rapid Arabic, their voices tense. It's chaotic, but somehow... I understand them.
SYSTEM ALERT: New Skill Unlocked—Language Translation (Arabic).
"Faster!" one of them yells, eyes wide, fear dripping from his voice. "They're gaining on us!"
I glance in the rearview mirror, my heart pounding as I see them—five black SUVs bouncing over the dunes, headlights glaring, and men hanging out the windows, their AK-47s blazing. Gunfire fills the air, a rapid staccato of death. I duck instinctively as bullets ping off the armored body of our vehicle.
"Shit! I'm going as fast as I can!" I shout back, jamming the gas pedal to the floor. The engine roars beneath me, and the wheels spin, kicking up more sand as we surge forward.
The Sultans hold on for dear life, eyes wide with panic. The air is thick with tension, heat, and the biting sting of desperation. Bullets slam into the back of the car, and I can hear the metallic clink-clink-clink of the rounds hitting the bulletproof glass.
Luckily it's bullet prof but…
clink-clink-clink !!!
They are fucking relentless motherfucker!!!
This is way too fucked up, I mean it's so fucking real that it has my blood boiling. This is real real-time experience
Ahead, the endless desert stretches out, with no landmarks and no cover, just dunes upon dunes. The sunlight is almost blinding as it reflects off the golden sands, but I can't let up. I can't stop. Not yet.
"There!" one of the Sultans shouts, pointing frantically. "We have to lose them before the next dune!"
I grit my teeth and shift gears, steering hard to the left. The vehicle skids across the sand, tilting dangerously, but I manage to keep it steady. The SUVs behind us aren't so lucky—one of them flips as it hits a ridge, spiraling in the air before crashing down in a cloud of dust. One less to worry about.
I have no like that professional driving skills but I have undergo driving lessons. It was one of the first basic training I went through. It is a mandatory lesson and we are all left to do it ourselves, crush or not crush, you learn to drive with just a manual book.
"Hold on!" I yell, pushing the accelerator to its limits. The engine growls in protest, but I need every ounce of speed it can give me.
The wind howls as we rocket across the dunes. I can feel the heat blasting through the windows, the rough, dry air cutting my skin like sandpaper. The sweat on my forehead stings my eyes, but I don't blink. I can't afford to lose focus, not with death breathing down our necks.
Another burst of gunfire. Bullets rip through the air just above us, close enough that I can hear them whistle by. I swerve hard, dodging the spray, but the SUVs are relentless.
"They won't stop!" one of the Sultans gasps, his knuckles white as he grips the seat in front of him. "We're running out of time!"
Man! These guys won't stop yelling!
The terrain shifts, the dunes flattening out as a road comes into view—a barely visible line in the distance. My heart leaps.
"There!" I shout, pointing toward it. "The road! If we can get there, we've got a chance!"
My foot is still glued to the gas, the vehicle thundering forward, but the SUVs are gaining. I can see the men hanging out the windows, their guns raised, their shouts barely audible over the roar of engines and gunfire. My heart is hammering in my chest, adrenaline coursing through me like wildfire.
We hit the road hard, the tires screeching as they finally find purchase on asphalt. The car lurches, but I don't slow down. The SUVs skid behind us, struggling to keep up now that we're out of the sand.
For a second, I think we might have lost them.
That's when it happens—another map flashes into view on the dashboard, a glowing blue dot pulsing on the screen. A floating triangular icon hovers above it with the words **"Safe House"** in bold letters.
A bright blue arrow appears on the road ahead of us, guiding the way.
"Almost there," I mutter, gritting my teeth as I follow the arrow. But the SUVs are still behind us, relentless in their pursuit. I can feel the tension in the air thickening with every second. The men are firing again, their bullets rattling against the car's armor, but the safe house is close. I just have to hold on a little longer.
The blue dot on the map draws nearer, and my grip tightens on the wheel. Sweat drips down my face, but I keep my focus sharp, the world blurring around me as the speedometer climbs. 100… 110… 120 km/h.
The road twists, and I yank the wheel to follow, tires screeching. The SUVs struggle to keep up, losing ground with every turn. I can hear the roar of their engines fading behind us.
"We're almost there!" one of the Sultans shouts, hope finally breaking through his voice.
I glance at the map again. The blue dot is right in front of us now, the safe house just ahead. I push the car even harder, feeling the engine strain, but we're so close.
Suddenly, we're there. The safe house comes into view—a low, bunker-like structure hidden in the sand, almost invisible from a distance. I slam on the brakes, the car skidding to a stop just in front of the entrance.
The Sultans burst out of the car, gasping for air, their robes billowing in the desert wind.
Behind us, the SUVs come to a halt, but they don't follow us in. We've made it. We're safe.

I exhale, sinking back into the seat as the tension leaves my body. The thrill of survival still buzzes through me, my pulse racing.
Then, just as I'm about to catch my breath, another notification flickers across my vision.
