Durgan nodded in agreement. "A direct assault would be suicide, but if we could infiltrate the ruins and disrupt their rituals, it might weaken their hold on this realm."
Varda interjected, her voice steady. "Disrupting the rituals won't be enough. To truly sever their power, we must destroy the artifact they draw from. If it's what I suspect, it will be heavily guarded."
Jezz clenched his fists. "Then we'll go. A small, skilled group to slip past their defenses and strike at the heart of their operations. We'll leave at dawn."
Gromak slammed his fist on the table. "I will not let you go without orc warriors by your side. This is our fight as much as yours."
Jezz nodded. "We'll go together. Humans and orcs united."
