Chapter 71 - Chapter 71: The Patricide

James looked at his father's dead body with a gloomy face, gritted his teeth and walked out.

Pycelle lay beside the corpse and carefully observed to confirm the cause of Tywin's death. Mace looked at Tywin's body in shock, his lips trembling.

Varys looked at Tywin, whose death was exactly the same as Joffrey's, and then looked at Cersei, who was lying on the bed crying, and walked out of Tywin's bedroom with an expressionless face.

Ten minutes later, the gold cloaks of the King's Landing garrison responsible for capturing Tyrion reported that Tyrion's house was already empty. After searching, they found that all the important things in the room had been moved away.

Tywin's cupbearer also disappeared with Tyrion. Pycelle had confirmed that the cup that Tywin drank from contained traces of the Strangler poison.

"Tyrion, you killed my mother, my children, and now you've killed my father. I will catch you and tear you into pieces!" Cersei swore with gritted teeth after hearing the report.

"Block all docks and intersections, and search the city for Tyrion!" Cersei stood up and ordered the gold-cloaked man beside her.

The news of Tywin's death quickly spread throughout King's Landing, and at the same time, the news of Tyrion's patricide also spread. After hearing the news, all the nobles were horrified at Tyrion's cruelty.

......

After resting for a night in the town, early the next morning, the two carriages left the town and continued to head southeast along the wide river.

After Tyrion sobered up, Drogon never asked him to drink again. When he went to the grassland, he only drank kumis occasionally and rarely drank firewine.

After being drunk by Drogon, Tyrion was afraid that Drogon would ask him to drink again, so he was scared and didn't even dare to drink red wine. During the day, he read books with Shireen and discussed the contents of the books. At night, he lived a new life with Shae, completely unaware that he had become a wanted criminal in King's Landing, adding another patricide to the king's slayer.

Drogon basically took care of all the meals for the entire small team. The guards and grooms originally thought that this escort would be a tough job, but they didn't expect that not only would they witness a real dragon, but they would also eat so much that their mouths would be drooling every day. They all hoped that the escort would arrive at the destination later.

Watching Shireen studying government affairs seriously with Tyrion in the carriage, Drogon wondered whether Dragon Queen would have another female advisor besides Missandei in the near future.

"What's going on?" Tyrion, who was explaining to Shireen, suddenly felt the vibration of the carriage intensify. It was not normal bumps, and the water cup on the table was also covered with fine ripples.

Drogon also noticed something was wrong. He went to the window, lifted the curtain and flew out. Tyrion also pushed open the carriage door and walked out.

The guards outside the carriage were in a panic at this time, and the war horses under their crotch were stamping their hooves restlessly. In the dust on the road in the distance, the neighing of strong horses and the shouting of humans mixed together. There were at least a few hundred people.

Listening to the sound coming from afar, the five guards looked more bitter than each other. They thought they were lucky on this escort trip, but they didn't expect to meet the person they least wanted to meet.

Looking at the dust rising in the distance, Tyrion's face changed drastically, and he hurriedly asked Shae and Shireen, who were following behind him, to get back into the carriage.

The cavalry quickly approached the carriage, but instead of rushing to attack, they split into two teams and surrounded the carriage.

A man walked out from the team. He had shiny braids, brown skin, almond eyes, and a strong body without a trace of fat. He seemed to want to see who was in the two gorgeous carriages they surrounded.

Drogon had already recognized the identity of the horse team and flew up from the carriage, looking at this team of Dothraki Khalasar who were out looting.

The guard leader Arwen did not expect that the Dothraki would cross the wide river to plunder here. When he saw the Dothraki khal, he had no choice but to meet them, hoping that the Dothraki team would let them go after paying a ransom.

Alvin was about to speak when he noticed that the Kaa who had walked out of the team was not looking at him, but was looking up slightly behind him.

He looked back and found that the little black dragon, who had been in the same carriage with the little girl, was now hovering above the carriage, fluttering its wings.

The other Dothraki warriors in the horse team also saw Drogon flying in the air.

Just as Arwen was about to speak, another person walked out of the Dothraki horse team, came to the side of the first Khal, glanced at Drogon, and whispered a few words.

Arwen knew a little about Dothraki, and only vaguely heard that the Dothraki who was a bloodrider seemed to mention something about dragon gods, offspring, and the like.

Dragon God? Arwen looked back at Drogon. Although this little dragon was very strong, it was still far from the Dragon God that the blood guard had mentioned!

Of course, Khal Roggo in the field also noticed the difference of Drogon. He was very similar to the black dragon that often appeared in the Dothraki Sea and exchanged gold coins for barbecue, but he was too small, almost the size of a newborn dragon.

He and his blood guards were wondering if this little dragon was the offspring of the black dragon that their grassland worshipped as the Dragon God. Regardless of whether the little dragon flying in the air was related to the Dragon God, Roggo did not intend to attack the two carriages. If they angered the Dragon God, their Karasa would definitely not be able to withstand the Dragon God's wrath.

Roggo took a few steps back and said a few words to the people behind him. A dozen Dothraki warriors in the cavalry got off their horses, took off the backpacks and wine skins they were carrying on the horses, walked past Arwen and came to a place three meters away from Drogon, and put the things on the ground.

Arwen and the other guards looked at the scene in shock. They didn't expect that before they could take out the ransom, the Dothraki offered food and kumis to the little black dragon.

Although Tyrion knew that Drogon could grow bigger, he was still worried that there were too many people in the cavalry, and even if Drogon grew bigger, he would not be able to take care of all of them.

What he didn't expect was that the horse team not only did not attack the carriage but gave them food and wine.

Shireen and Shae hadn't heard any sound in the carriage for a long time, so they curiously opened the window curtain and saw the Dothraki offering food.

When Shireen saw the horse team, she guessed that they might be Dothraki from the grassland dozens of kilometers away on the other side of the river. But she knew that Drogon often went to the grassland to buy barbecue, so she was not afraid at all.

Looking at the food and wine piled up like a mountain on the ground, Drogon was very satisfied with the performance of Khalasa, and nodded to Shireen who was stretching her little head to look out.

Shireen immediately understood what Drogon meant and went back to her car to get Drogon's backpack.

Seeing Drogon stretch out three claws, Shireen took out three golden coins from them and walked up to Rogokaoma fearlessly to hand them to him.

When Roggo saw the backpack shireen was holding, he felt it looked familiar. It was only when the blood guard next to him reminded him that he realized it might be the backpack of the Dragon God.

Upon closer inspection, he saw a small bell on the backpack, exactly the same as the one on his braid. It was a mark of honor for Kao after defeating a powerful opponent. The more bells there were, the more powerful enemies Kao had defeated.

Khal Roggo didn't know that after the backpack became Drogon's special backpack, Jhiqui sewed a bell on it as a record of his honor for killing the inmortal.
