Chapter 68 - Chapter 68: A Mouth

Although Stannis claimed to be the Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Tyrion did not recognize him. After all, Tommen was still the nominal king, not to mention that Tyrion was about to serve Queen Daenerys.

"Come to my carriage and talk while we walk!" After moving around under the carriage for a while, Tyrion invited Shireen.

Shireen also wanted to get in touch with Tyrion, who had served as Prime Minister of King's Landing.

"Wait a moment!" Shireen said, and quickly walked into the carriage, packing a large bag of the delicious food that Drogon brought last night.

The two carriages provided by Governor Illyrio of Pentos were very large and comfortable. The three people and the dragon sitting opposite each other did not seem crowded at all.

The interior of the carriage is luxuriously decorated, with a complete wine cabinet and small table, and a faint fragrance.

Tyrion took out red wine and a glass from the wine cabinet, poured a glass and handed it to Shireen. The little girl had never drunk red wine before. She looked at the glass and hesitated for a moment before taking it.

Tyrion poured another glass for himself and Shae. Just as he was about to put the bottle down, he suddenly noticed that the little dragon Drogon sitting next to Shireen was staring at the bottle of red wine.

"Would you like a drink?" Tyrion asked tentatively.

Hearing Tyrion's question, Shae looked at Drogon curiously. She didn't think a little dragon would drink red wine.

Although Drogon rarely drinks red wine, as a fan of the little devil, he naturally had to have a glass when sitting with him, so he nodded.

Xue Yi didn't expect that the little dragon not only understood the question, but also really wanted to drink the red wine. She couldn't help but open her sexy lips, wanting to see how Drogon drank the red wine without even using his hands. Did he want Shireen to feed him?

Shireen had seen Drogon drink kumis and the stronger firewine before. She had tasted both. She really disliked the pungent smell of kumis, and the firewine almost choked her to death.

Tyrion knew that dragons were very smart and could understand simple human language, but looking at the history of the Targaryen family, it seemed extremely rare to see dragons drinking red wine.

"Glad we can travel together!" Tyrion raised his glass.

Drogon easily rolled up the wine glass with his wings, raised it high on tiptoe and clinked glasses with the three people.

Shae had never thought that there would be a day when she would clink glasses with a dragon. She was so excited that she almost spilled the wine. Tyrion was not much better than Shae and almost choked while drinking.

Drogon picked up the half-full glass of wine and drank it all in one gulp, then held the empty glass and looked at the half-full glass in Tyrion's hand.

His hometown emphasizes deep feelings and drinking in one gulp. Although this was the second time he met Tyrion and this was their first time drinking, he had been thinking about the little devil for a long time, so half a glass would definitely not be enough.

Tyrion saw Drogon drink the red wine in the glass in one gulp, but instead of putting the glass down, he stared at his glass. He didn't understand what was going on for a moment.

He looked at his half-full glass of wine, then at Drogon's glass. Did he want him to finish the wine, too? Tyrion wondered.

But shouldn't red wine be taken in small sips? He thought so in his mind, but couldn't ask it out loud. Seeing that Drogon was still staring at his glass, he quickly picked up the glass and drank the remaining red wine.

When Tyrion had finished drinking, Drogon handed the cup in his wing to Tyrion and asked him to continue pouring the wine.

Shae looked at the scene in amazement. She didn't expect that Drogon could drink so much. He drank half a glass of red wine in one gulp and even asked Tyrion to pour him some wine.

Shireen pursed her lips and tried not to laugh as she looked at Tyrion and Shae's surprised expressions. It was not until Tyrion poured the wine again that she remembered the food she had brought.

She untied the bag, unfolded the oil paper, and took out the roasted lamb chops, honey-glazed roast duck, and smoked horse meat. She knew that Drogon liked to eat meat while drinking kumis.

Tyrion didn't expect that Shireen's bag was full of food. He was not used to eating meat and drinking red wine, but out of politeness he tore off a piece of duck meat and ate it, and asked Shae to take out the food and fruits they had prepared and put them together with the meat.

After taking two bites of the chewy smoked horse meat, drogon raised his glass and clinked it with the three people, then drank half a glass of red wine in one gulp.

Seeing that Drogon had finished the red wine again, Tyrion hesitated for a moment and then took two big gulps, draining the glass.

Tyrion put down the wine glass and saw that Drogon still wanted to drink, so he refilled the glass with red wine.

Seeing that Tyrion and Drogon were drinking well, Shireen did not disturb them. She looked around the carriage and found a book on the bedside. Her eyes lit up immediately. She had read all the books in the house, but she had never seen the cover of the book on Tyrion's bedside. She could not help but politely ask, "Lord Tyrion, can I see that book?"

Tyrion was a little worried about whether he would get drunk if he continued to drink like this. He didn't know how much the dragon Drogon could drink. When he heard Shireen's question, he glanced at the head of the bed and said, "Of course, and I have other books here. You can take them if you want to read them."

When Tyrion saw the light in Shireen's eyes when she asked the question, he knew that Shireen was a book lover like himself.

"Really? That's great!" shireen exclaimed happily when she heard that there were other books to read.

"I have a book here too. I'll give it to you when I get back." After taking the book and flipping through two pages, Shireen did not forget to share her book with Tyrion.

Tyrion smiled and nodded, then asked, "Have you and Drogon known each other for a long time?"

Shireen glanced at Drogon beside her, thought for a moment and said, "Not too early, probably more than a month!"

"What books do you usually read?" Tyrion continued.

"A lot, including Aegon the Conqueror's History of Westeros, The Records of the Seven, and Travels in Essos... I've read them all." Shireen frowned and said after thinking for a while.

Hearing that Shireen read a lot of different books, Tyrion glanced at the half of her face covered by gray scales and couldn't help but think of himself.

"Can you understand this book?" Tyrion asked, looking at the "Important Affairs of Political History" in Shireen's hand.

"I can understand some of it. I've read The Autobiography of Vassos before, which contains a lot of information about the government affairs he handled when he was Hand of the King." Tyrion didn't expect Shireen to have such a wide range of interests that she had even read such a niche book as The Autobiography of Vassos.

Comparing Tyrion's situation after he turned ten, Shireen did have plenty of time to read.

Seeing that Tyrion and Shireen were talking very speculatively, Drogon knew that his goal had been achieved, and he clinked glasses with Tyrion during a break in their conversation.

After another glass of wine, Drogon saw that his dragon had almost finished all the food on the table, so he raised his wings to stop Tyrion from pouring more wine.

Seeing Drogon's actions, Tyrion couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. If he continued to drink half a cup at a time, he would be drunk.

Drogon no longer wanted to drink the red wine and had finished his meal. He opened the curtain on the right and flew out directly to the carriage where Shireen was sitting. He picked up the remaining food, kumis and a can of firewine.

Seeing Drogon flying out of the window, Tyrion was wondering what he was doing when he saw Drogon open the carriage door and fly in, holding a cloth bag several times larger than his body in one of his little paws.
