"Why did you want to kill Joffrey?" Sansa still didn't understand Petyr's motives.
"I'm not doing this for you?" Petyr's eyes were burning.
Sansa avoided Petyr's eager eyes uncomfortably and asked, "Where are we going now?"
"In the Eyrie in the Vale, at your aunt's place." Seeing Sansa dodge, Petyr did not force her. He was very patient with women.
"Why not go to Riverrun? My mother and brother are there." Sansa asked in surprise. She had finally escaped from King's Landing and thought she could return to her mother, but she didn't expect Petyr to take her to the Eyrie.
Although his aunt Lysa was there, he had only met her once when he was a child. In comparison, although Riverrun was not his home, after all, his mother and brother were there.
"It has been besieged by Tywin and the Twins' army. Not even a bird can fly in. Do you think we can get in?"
After listening to Petyr, Sansa did not refute. She was now in the same boat with Petyr, and she knew that being appropriately obedient would make her life better on the ship.
The Eyrie is better than King's Landing. I don't have to be careful everywhere and worry every day. I can wait for my mother there or find a way to return home to Winterfell.
In King's Landing, she was forced by Joffrey to look at her father's head on a spear; she was almost stripped naked by Joffrey's men in public; she was almost raped by seven or eight mobs; and she was forced by Tywin to marry Tyrion the Devil.
Now she is no longer the little girl who thought about the Prince Charming and dreamed of becoming a queen all day long. She just wants to go home and be with her family.
Now that she had finally escaped from that hellish place called King's Landing, she felt extremely relieved all over.
Even if others mistakenly thought she was the murderer of Joffrey, she was unwilling to return to the place that gave her countless nightmares.
I just don't know if anything will happen to Tyrion, her nominal husband who has helped her countless times. As they are both Lannisters, Queen Mother Cersei will not sentence him to death, Sansa thought to herself as she looked at King's Landing which was getting farther and farther away from her.
......
On Dragonstone, Shireen stared at the two large bags of food with wide eyes, and her slight depression about not seeing Drogon when she woke up in the morning was swept away.
"Where did you get these two big bags of food? You are so strong!" shireen exclaimed as she untied the bags.
When she opened the bag, she found that the food inside was more abundant than ever before, and many of the cakes and fruits she had never seen before.
Shireen bolted the door and chatted with Drogon while eating. After she finished eating, Drogon took out a pen and paper and wrote a few more lines, asking Shireen to tell the Onion Knight Davos to send her to the designated location before dawn tomorrow morning, where there would be a boat to pick her up.
Knowing that she would have to leave Dragonstone, where she grew up, after staying one more night, Shireen felt a little depressed. She chatted with Drogon for a while before going to find Davos. The day passed quickly...
The next day, just after dawn, Davos knocked on Shireen's door as promised. The clothes and books to be taken away had already been packed. Shireen looked back at her little room and Drogon hiding under the bed with nostalgia, and walked out of the room with Davos.
After they went out, Drogon crawled out from under the bed, opened the small window, and flew to the agreed location.
Davos carried his luggage and quietly bypassed the guards on duty and came to the back of Dragonstone. The water here was not deep enough and no large ships could dock.
As soon as they reached the beach, a small boat came over from a distance. It seemed that it had been waiting for a long time.
There was only one person on the boat. He had an honest face, a strong build and dark skin. It was obvious that he often sailed on the sea.
The sturdy man nodded to Davos, and Davos helped Shireen get on the boat carefully. The boat rowed to the west. Shireen frowned, glanced at Dragonstone, and waved goodbye to Davos.
Dragonstone gradually moved away. Shireen looked up at the sky, where a small black dot was following the boat closely.
Fortunately, Drogon was with her, Shireen comforted herself.
After getting on the boat, shireen thanked the boatman and asked him where he was from. Finding that he was rather dull, she stopped talking to him and took out a book to read slowly.
Three hours later, an island came into sight, three times the size of Dragonstone. This was their destination, Tidehead Island.
Passing the island pier, the boat stopped at a remote deserted beach. The sturdy man helped shireen move the luggage and looked at the desolate rocks around him in confusion, wondering why the person in charge asked him to leave a little girl in such a place.
And he left immediately after putting it down. Even though he was a little worried, he had to do as he was told. Seeing the strong man was about to leave, shireen said thank you to him again and looked at the sky with some anticipation.
The sturdy man was not afraid at all and even a little happy to see that shireen was left on the deserted beach. He looked up at the sky curiously. A seabird was hovering there. He remembered that the seabird had been following his boat all the way, and the little girl often looked at it when she was not reading.
Putting aside the doubts in his heart, he said goodbye to shireen and rowed towards the other side of Chaotou Island.
Seeing the boat go away, Drogon landed on the ground.
"How long will it take for the big ship to arrive? It's so desolate here." shireen looked around and said, she was really scared if she was left here alone.
Drogon did not answer Shireen, but waved his wings at her.
"You want me to stay away from you?" Shireen was already accustomed to Drogon's actions, and saw that his actions did not mean goodbye.
She stepped back in confusion, and when she saw Drogon waving his wings at her again, she took a few more steps back.
Seeing that the distance was about right, Drogon consumed a little magic power and activated the transformation.
Poof!
shireen only felt a flash before her eyes, and a huge monster appeared in front of her, frightening her so much that she took several steps back.
With her mouth open and her eyes wide open, shireen blinked and finally she was sure that what she saw was real. A giant dragon as big as the boat was staring at her with flaming eyes.
"Drogon... Drogon, is this really you?" Drogon suddenly turned from a tiny creature into a giant dragon. Shireen still couldn't believe it.
Seeing Drogon nod, Shireen asked excitedly: "I've never seen a dragon become smaller in a book. How did you do it?"
In the past, when Shireen discovered that Drogon never grew up, she thought she had some disease, because the books recorded that some dragons grew very slowly after birth, and their heads were only the size of an apple when they grew up.
Unexpectedly, drogon was not only not sick, but also could change size, which gave her a big surprise.
Drogon lay on the ground with his wings spread out to form a step and looked at Shireen.
"Can I really ride it?" Shireen asked in surprise when she saw Drogon's actions.
She really enjoyed reading books about Aegon the Conqueror and looking at illustrations of them riding dragons into battle. She had also fantasized about riding a dragon, but she never thought that she would really ride a dragon one day.
He excitedly picked up the bag, stepped carefully on the scarlet wings, and staggered to Drogon's back. He touched the shiny scales, not knowing which part to ride on.
