Hugo sat cross legged on the floor of his dorm room, eyes squeezed shut, trying desperately to focus on his breathing. Deep inhale.
Long exhale. He needed this—needed to cleanse his mind of all the chaotic nonsense from the past few days.
The air in the room was still, the faint hum of the air conditioner the only sound as Hugo mumbled under his breath, "Breathe in the peace… breathe out the frustration."
But the frustration refused to leave.
His mind flickered back to Collins' smug grin, the sight of his freshly painted Benz, and the mountain of cash he'd dropped on the repairs.
It was like his brain was actively sabotaging him. He sighed, pinched the bridge of his nose, and tried again.
"No negativity, Hugo. Just positive vibes. You're like… a monk or something now. Clear your head."
