My powers were kinda grouped together. Everything I got from Geralt super strength, night vision, poison immunity was just lumped under Witcher Physiology.

I'd started assimilating Dr. Nefario as soon as Jacob was done.

At least I didn't have to worry about someone cloning me or messing with my DNA. Any hair, blood, or tissue that left my body just self-destructed at the genetic level.

Honestly, that was one of the bigger threats out there. Right up there with reality warping, mind control, soul manipulation, and all that other nightmare fuel.

I still hadn't checked the third page of my unused cards, but the big ones were the character cards

Ghislain (Mushoku Tensei)

Mina (Darker than Black)

Chihiro Fujisaki (Danganronpa)

I'd assimilate Chihiro after I finish Ryo. The other two? I'd summon them once I had a proper setup.

I'm thinking about buying a mansion on the outskirts. Once I have it, I can redesign the interior something like Batman's setup.

I was zoning out when something on the TV caught my attention. Turning up the volume, I listened.

"Breaking news Tony Stark, CEO of Stark Industries, has gone missing during his trip to the Middle East."

So, the plot of Iron Man had officially kicked off. If nothing changed, Tony's rise as Iron Man was inevitable.

Then again, this could be some what-if scenario where he actually died out there.

Not that it mattered. What mattered was that I needed to step up my game.

I had enough power to take on most supers, and with teleportation? I could counter a lot of them without breaking a sweat.

But before any of that, I had to handle something I'd been putting off for way too long.

....

"Where the hell did he go?" Kingpin shouted, frustration boiling over as he slammed his fist on the desk.

It had been a week since Kilgrave entered Hell's Kitchen, and still, no news. His men had reported that Kilgrave met with Punisher and Daredevil, but after that? Nothing. But his mens are attacked again

With his ability, there should be no way he could have been killed, especially with the girl around. Kingpin rubbed his temples, thinking about Jessica and her super strength.

"Boss, Bullseye's here," a voice called from outside.

"Let him in," Kingpin said.

No one entered his office without permission, no matter their rank.

The door opened, and in walked a man, casually flipping a playing card between his fingers, a smirk on his face.

How did the deal go? Kingpin asked, getting straight to business.

"Good. Your assumption was right, Hand definitely has some supers under them."

Closing his eyes, Kingpin tapped his fingers on the table while Bullseye continued playing with the card.

Finally, he opened his eyes and locked onto Bullseye.

"Hunt those vigilantes down and make sure they don't escape again."

"I'll need a partner. Last time, Punisher showed up and saved Daredevil he was this close to dying by my hands. And now, I hear they've got another ally. I'm not scared, but it's better to be careful."

"You're right. One against three is a bad ratio," Kingpin said, dialing a number.

"Mary, I've got a job for you."

He paused, listening, then added, "Not alone. Bullseye will be with you on this."

"Be back by Saturday," he finished, then hung up.

"Now you have a partner. Make sure the job gets done."

Bullseye clicked his tongue in annoyance as he turned to leave. "She's a psycho," he muttered.

Kingpin stood up, adjusting his cuffs. "And you're not?"

Bullseye paused, then let out a sharp laugh. "Yeah… you're right. I am too."

As Bullseye left, Kingpin stepped to the edge of the room, gazing out at the city through the glass.

Everyone's a monster in some way. Most just don't admit it.

Only those who embrace it can achieve greatness.
