A young man with shoulder length black hair done into a small ponytail, onyx eyes and a stoic expression typically seen on every other uchiha—- can be seen walking down the uchiha clans compound towards the clan heads house.
As itachi continued walking through he received slight nods of acknowledgement from his passing classmen. 'I wonder what Sasuke is up to…' normally when someone looks at itachis serious expression they can't help but think that such a mature looking kid would most likely be contemplating about the complexity's of life.
Itachi clearly with a couple screw loose, is currently thinking about his cute younger brother—Sasuke Uchiha.
Arriving home Itachi took off his shoes before entering his home. "I'm back." Stating his entry Mikoto Uchiha Itachis mother walks out of the kitchen. "Welcome Home itachi. How was your play date with shisui?" Ignoring his mothers attempts at trying to get a reaction itachi looks around distractedly.
"It was fine. Although me and shisui lost, it still was fun… where's Sasuke?" Sighing at her eldest sons dull reactions she regains her smile as she hears her youngest trudging down the stairs after most likely hearing the door open.
"Itachi!!" Catching the small canon ball barrelling into his abdomen Itachi cracks a slight smile. "Be careful Sasuke, you could hurt yourself if you don't be more careful." Seeing Sasuke's small pout itachis normally cold heart warms at the sight before instinctively tapping Sasuke on the forehead with his fingers.
Backing away with a small pout Sasuke clutching his forehead glares at itachi before his puffy cheeks are pinched— no, assaulted by his mothe, Mikoto. "Alright Sasuke~ your brother is tired don't annoy him too much. Now both of you go wash your hands diner is ready."
Walking towards the dining room Itachi spots his Father Fugaku Uchiha sitting down with small cup of tea. "Itachi. How was your training?" Fugaku a man of few words asked his eldest son about his day receiving a short answer of "Fine"
Mikoto watching this scene lets out a sigh. "You two really are cut from the same cloth— at least say a scentence instead of just giving short answers… now Itachi try again, tell us about why your day was 'fine'…" sighing at his mothers antics Itachi decides to just get it over with.
As he is describing his training session with his 2 rivals and best friends—sasuke interupts. "No way! No one is stronger than brother— That 'Jiyū' is a cheater" watching in amusement as Sasuke defends him.
"How suprising, I never expected the Hyuga to be able to produce a genius on par with you and shisui. It will do you good to form a bond with him even if our clans have a rivalry." Nodding in confirmation itachi finishes up his food before getting dragged along by Sasuke.

Shisui, a eccentric and energetic person is seen as an anomaly in the usually stoic uchiha clan.
Shisui currently out on a what he was told is a small C-Rank mission is currently playing heavily his sword used as a crutch to help him stay standing. His form covered in blood and wounds is a stark contrast to how one should look on a normal C-Rank mission especially with someone of shisuis skill.

"Damn it! This was supposed to be a normal escort mission. Why are there kiri nin here?!" Looking around shisui spots 4 adults lying in a pool of their own blood, their foreheads adorned with the Mist villages symbol.
All around the young Uchiha is a chaotic battlefield filled with dead bodies of allies and enemies alike, with blood splattered on the surroundings, body parts and spilled guts, it would cause even a experinces veterans stomach to turn.
Using his now broken sword as c crutch shisui walks over to a trio of dead leaf nin. Kneeling down in front of them shisui lets his tears flow. "*sob* I'm sorry… I was too weak." Getting up shisui seas the bodies into a scrol before moving areas to rest.
After recovering somewhat shisui rushes back towards the village in haste. Kiri nin being this deep inside the land of fire is a major problem.
Rushing past the gate shisui flickers to the hokages office. Calming his breathing before knocking. "Enter." Opening the door shisui walks in laying his eyes on Hiruzen Sarutobi the 3rd Hokage of the leaf village.
Looking up from his paper work Hiruzens eyes widen in shock at seeing shisui covered in mud and still open wounds. "Shisui! What happened? Where's your team?" Observing as shisuis expression becomes sorrowful the Hokage understood that something had gone wrong.
"Lord third… I- my team was ambushed by Kiri Nin who had invaded the land of fire, although we managed to eliminate them…. M-my t-team…. They…" seeing this Hiruzen raises his hand. "Don't worry shisui your not at fault for this. Thanks to you and your teams sacrifice we not only eliminated a most likely elite team of Kiri but now found out some important information." Seeing shisui hand him a scroll filled with most likely dead bodies Hiruzen sighs in sorrow.
"I'm sorry for you loss shisui… it seems like Jonin Kitagawa decided to sacrifice him self to allow you to live. He truly embodies the meaning of the will of fire. He as the lead burning him self so the young saps can sprout into towering trees to support konoha."
Seeing the Hokages sad expression and hearing his words shisuis expression softened while turning into admiration. "Yes lord 3rd your right, sensei truly embodies the will of fire, after sacrificing his life sensei tried to cover our escape, b-but Mika and penta…" remembering his inability to save his team shisuis expression turn's crestfallen.
"Don't worry shisui it isn't your fault, I will make sure this encounter is investigated and that your team be hailed as heroes for stopping the enemies from invading the land of fire and wreaking havoc. Now my boy go to the hospital and get yourself checked up, lest those wounds of your get infected. You after all need to live up to your teammates sacrifices"
Hearing the hokages words shisuis expression turns reverent and thankfull before bowing in respect and leaving to the hospital.

Watching as shisui drags him self out his office Hiruzen can't help crack a small satisfied smile at this loyal Ninja. "Kagami it seems like your will has been inherited by your grandson, shisui is a true believer of the will of fire, discarding the evil twisted uchiha ways and being able to see above the norm. Don't worry old friend I'll make sure to take good care of him."
Nodding to him self Hiruzen grabs an empty scroll before scribbling something on it. Calling an ANBU Hiruzen hands him the scroll with instructions. "Take this to Danzo tell him Kiri is making moves, he will know what to do."
Nodding the ANBU disapears to go carry out his orders. Watching as the ANBU disappears Hiruzen can't help but allow his mind to drift to the 3 new upcoming geniuses, itachi and shisui uchiha. And suprisingly Jiyū a Hyuga branch member.
As Hiruzen continues contemplating and making plans to Brainwas- convince these geniuses to inherit the will of fire to become Pilar's of konoha—he doesn't realise the consequences his action will cause in the future.
