"Take her down quickly but make sure you don't hurt her." Alpha Viktor ordered the guard as he exited the room without looking back.
Coward!
I snarled at him as he left before I turned my gaze to the guard in question, who was in his wolf form.
I'd managed to knock out others but it seemed even more guards were heading this way as 'backup'.
Suddenly, the guard in the form of a grey wolf that was way smaller than Umbra, charged at me again.
But this time, I stood my ground and focused my gaze on him coldly as he got within inches from me.
When he was close enough, I released a howl before I slashed at his face. The slap came across as sloppy, but I made up for that with my superior Umbra wolf strength.
The slap sent the guard sliding through the ground until he hit a wall beside us.
He whimpered in pain, almost making me feel bad, but I huffed and made my way for the exit.
