Liam's p.o.v
After saying what I felt to my parents, I dashed out of the house to my backyard. I started walking into woods.
I was controlling my feelings. I am angry, hurt and feeling exhausted about this. I didn't want to hurt their feelings, but I couldn't hold it in my heart. I spoke what I wanted to say to them for a long time. I am long forgotten about the surprise after that. I was very happy when they ate the dinner. If Destiny didn't say I have cooked, I would have told them Melissa had made the dinner.
I thought dinner would go smoothly. After I assured them to wait in the living room till I return with the wine. And I was about to enter, I saw Destiny standing at the entrance. As I went behind her, I knew why she was standing.
After few steps, I stood beside the tree and opened the wine bottle I had in my hand. I took a big gulp of it. I needed something to clear my mind. I feel like crying but I am controling it. I leaned against the tree and grazed at the sky. I stood there taking few small swing of the wine.
After twenty minutes, I started making my way to the house. I was only little drunk but I know what's happening around. I just drank half of the bottle.
I just got to my backyard, when I saw my father making his way towards me. I stay rooted to my place as I saw him. He reached up to me and eyed the bottle I was holding.
"How much did you drink?" he asked looking at me. I shrugged my shoulder at him and said.
"Not much, only half a bottle. But I am okay, just slightly drunk".
"Well that's good. If you are alright, you can show me your house right" he asked looking around. I nod my head and showed him my backyard. We didn't talk much, I just showed him around. We were about to enter, he stopped grabbing my arm lightly.
"I am really sorry son. I didn't know you were feeling like that. I lost the time I had to spend with you. But I will keep trying. Just say what you need I will do it" I can hear the sincerity in his voice and also hope.
"It's okay, just don't let me down again. And I have a surprise for you both" I said to him. He smiled at me.
"Okay"
"Come I will show you" I said to him and entered the house. We head to the living room. We saw Destiny and my mother were talking happily. I smiled at them. I called mother. She looked up at me and got up quickly. She hugged me tightly, I hugged her back.
"I am sorry Liam"
"It's okay, now come I have a surprise to you both" I said grabbing her hand. I bought them to the room I have made it ready for them. I stood infront of it and looked at my parents.
"I hope you will like it" I said and opened the door. I went inside and turned on the light. I turned towards them, they entered and saw around the room. Destiny was standing near the door. I was nervous, I put my hands inside the pocket and looked at my parents reaction. They were surprised.
"Well how is it" I asked them.
"It's very good son. But whose room is this? And why did you bring us here?" my mother asked still looking at the room. I bought my right hand up to rub my neck.
"This... This room is yours. I mean both of you. I am asking you both to live with me" hearing that they both turned towards me. I looked away not wanting to see their reaction about what I am going to say next.
"I know you are thinking why I got a room for you both when you don't even know me. I would always think about getting you here and live with you both, so we can know each other more and live like a family. But you contacted me very less in these years and I thought that was a bad idea" I stopped and released a breath.
"But when you both came and apologized to me. The hope I had in me ignited, I wanted my parents to live with me. You may be thinking what a fool I am. When everyone in the world leave home at certain age to start fresh. And here I am asking you to live with me. I am a fo...." my words were cut off as someone hugged me tightly. I slightly looked down to see my mother's head.
She was crying loudly hugging me tightly. Did I say something wrong. I looked up to see my father sitting on the bed crying. He suddenly got up and came towards me hugged both of us. I was confused, why they are crying. They don't want to stay here, that's why they are crying.
I looked at the door to see Destiny for help, but she was not there. Where is she?. I am really confused. I bought my hands up and hugged them.
My father broke the hug and looked at me in determination. He caressed my hair and slightly smiled at me. My mother was still crying hugging me.
"We will surely stay with you my son. If that's gonna make you happy, we will live with you. I will try my best son" he said. My lips broke into a smile.
"Really!" I asked him in excitement. I asked like a kid who will get his presents for Christmas. My mother broke the hug and caressed my cheek with her hand. Her eyes were filled with happiness.
"Yes son. We will live with you till you want us here. I think this is the best we can do to you, when we didn't do anything to you" she said. I kissed her cheek and hugged her.
"You don't know how happy I am" I said. Then I separated from her and went to my father to hug. I stopped and looked up at him. Am I doing right?.
Seeing me still, my father chuckled at me and hugged me. I hugged him back. This is what I was waiting for. Suddenly a thought came to my mind. I broke the hug and started rambling.
"Oh God, I forgot to arrange your clothes since you are living here. I have to tell Melissa about this. What do I do" my mother put a hand on my shoulder stopping my pacing in the room.
"It's okay dear, we will sort out something" she gave a assuring smile to me.
"I will call one of the servants from our house to bring clothes to us, don't worry" my father said taking the mobile to dail them.
"Now you go and rest well. It's been a long night, you have worked so hard today. We will talk tomorrow morning. Okay" my mother said rubbing my arms. I nod my head and went out.
I went in search of Destiny. I didn't find her anywhere. I think she might be in the guest room. I made it to her room and knocked at the door. I didn't want to repeat what happened yesterday.
After few seconds she opened the door. She had her mobile in her hand.
"Were you speaking to someone. Sorry if I have distributed you" I said putting my hands in my pockets. She shook her head.
"No you didn't disturb me, I was about to hang up anyway" she said leaning against the door. We stood there few minutes don't know what to talk. Finally I managed to talk.
"Why did you leave suddenly. I was looking for you to get your help. I was confused why they were crying" I asked her. She slightly chuckled.
"You wanted my help for that. That was not needed, your parents were happy hearing your request. I thought, I was interrupting your family time. So I left from there. I got a call from my sister, I came here to attend it" she said. I nod my head. I looked at her outfit.
"You can't sleep in that dress today, and I think you bought clothes for only for one stay. Just wait here" I said and dashed out to my room without her reply. I went to my closet, took out a black hoodie and sweatpants for her.
I made my way to her room, she was still standing near the door waiting for me. I gave her the clothes.
"Here take this" she took from my hand "After you fresh up, meet me in living room. We can watch a movie if you would like" I asked her nervously.
"Okay" she said closing the door slowly.
I smiled to myself and went to my room to change into something comfortable.
My parents are staying with me. I have to concentrate now on Destiny.
I quickly changed into T-shirt and sweatshirt. I came out and went to living room. I heard door bell ring. Who could be at this time.
I went to the door and opened it. A man was standing there with few bags on his hand.
"Sorry to disturb you sir, I was ordered to bring these bags to Mr Collins" he said.
"It's okay. Give it to me. I will give it" I said taking the bags from him. I closed the door and went to my parents room. I knocked at their door. My mother opened it. I went inside and placed the bag on the table. My father was sitting on the chair.
"Your clothes have arrived. A man came by and gave it" I said.
"Yeah, I said him" my father said tiredly.
"Well goodnight, you seemed tired" they both nod their head. They both greeted me good night before I came out.
I went to living room and saw Destiny sitting on the big couch with a pillow on her lap. Damn she looked hot in my clothes. My hoodie looks big on her. Her hands were inside the sleeves covering it. I went towards her and sat on the single couch.
"I wanted to ask something" she asked playing with the pillow. I nod my head to continue. I picked the remote from the table and opened Netflix.
"I was overwhelmed when I heard your surprise. I liked it. But what did your parents say about that" she asked.
"They accepted to stay here. And I am very happy about it" I said smiling at her. She smiled back. She said she wanted to watch avengers. I put it on. We started to watch it.
After an hour, I was still watching. But Destiny was trying to keep her eyes open. I was watching her from the corner of my eyes. I have forgotten about the movie now. She was trying not to sleep. She was curled up on the couch.
Her head was dozing to her right, for few minutes she tried to stopped it. And I was ready to catch her anytime. When she was about to fall, I went beside her and placed her head on my shoulder. And I continued to watch the movie.
She snuggled into me. I like this. I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her towards me. She cuddled to me and put her hand on my chest. I smiled at her. I removed the strands of hair from her face and put it behind her ear and kissed her forehead.
I placed the blanket on her which was at the end of the couch.
I watched the movie for few more minutes then I started to drift off. I placed my cheek on Destiny head and dozed off with one thought in my mind.
I don't wanna lose this or her.
