Chapter 114 - Plans

Hello everyone. The funeral happened and only now has the reality really hit, the past few days I've processed a lot about what happened but I've not entirely come to terms with what has happened yet. I will continue my active upload schedule now since I don't want anyone to wait any longer :).

Enough about all of this, here's the chapter.

Liam opened his eyes and slowly sat up in bed.

"What the hell?" Liam said, rubbing his eyes.

He fell deep into thought, remembering the strange dream of the past and the same old whispers.

'The whispers sound like before I got Incursio, but at the same time, they also sound completely different,' Liam thought. 'This time, the whispers were a lot softer and less invasive, like some kind of soft background music.'

'It really felt like they were trying to bring a different message,' he thought, hopping out of bed. 'This time, it also felt like I could vaguely hear words.'

While putting on clothes, brushing his teeth, eating, and handling other human necessities, he kept thinking about what the whispers meant.

After a while of coming up with theories but not managing to think of anything useful, Liam moved on to the strange dream he had.

'What was up with that dream anyway?' Liam thought, thinking back about the past. 'Sure, I've had dreams of the past before. But this one was different.'

'As far as I can remember, I have never seen those family members before in my life,' he thought. 'It could be my brain making up something or that I saw them in a news article before, but I doubt it.'

'The dream was way too detailed compared to normal dreams I've had in the past.'

The raw amount of emotions from the family members that had arrived at the scene looked genuine. Liam could still feel the sorrow he had heard from the screaming and crying.

'I wonder if that really was what happened after I killed them,' he thought, reaching for his dimensional pocket to get the book the Ancient One had given him on the mirror dimension.

'But I'm pretty sure S.H.I.E.L.D. cleaned anything related to me off the internet in the past, so finding it would be impossible unless I ask Fury again.' He thought. 'Or, I manage to get someone smart enough to hack into the S.H.I.E.L.D. database for it,'

Liam put the mirror dimension book beside his laptop while taking out a notebook from his dimensional pocket. Opening the notebook, Liam started writing simple requirements, goals, and possibilities down for the future of his organization.

He started with simple things such as the type of people he would need to recruit, what their goals would be, and so on. Then he moved on to the more difficult parts, such as making sure the people joining didn't have bad intentions and how he needed to represent his organization to the world.

For many questions, he still hadn't found an answer, but the current problem he had was a very common one. To start anything in life and recruit anyone, money and resources would be needed, which he had not nearly enough of.

Before he went to Wakanda, he needed to show at least something, even if it was just a plan. If he went there without anything set up, the chances that they would help him would be very low.

'I have around two million dollars, but that's barely enough to buy a decent building, let alone create a headquarters building for an organization,' he thought. 'Resource-wise, I'm even worse off.'

'Sure, I can interest a lot of people with the promise of magic spells and the likes. But the issue comes after,' Liam started writing. 'I would need people to teach the magic, and I would need to start printing out books for the magic itself.'

'Then I haven't even mentioned what I need for scientists. To start, I would need something interesting to study. As for the researching tools, they would be more important when recruiting people outside of Wakanda.' He stopped writing for a moment as he realized something.

'Dead creatures from different dimensions would definitely get their attention. And what if I capture some live ones?' Liam smiled. 'I'm sure I can get quite a few scientists on my side with the creatures, and the chances that they will take their research tools with them are highly likely then too.'

Liam knew he could just find some low-level tears and take some of the creatures with him. 'But I will still need a stable trading channel with Wakanda for tools afterward. The average tools that most normal scientists outside of Wakandans use are nowhere near enough to deal with the creatures.'

'These creatures will also help with the first goal, which is recruiting people who can fight,' he thought. 'By establishing a common threat, I think I can convince a lot more people to join me in fighting them.'

As for the question of why not just make his organization in Wakanda, Liam had multiple reasons not to. First of all, if he became fully dependent on one country, they could gain control over his actions. Secondly, Wakanda doesn't want foreign people to stay in their country permanently, at least not with the current king.

With that in mind, Liam wrote down a plan before closing his notebook. The plan he had created for what he would do in Wakanda was simple, he would just show them what he was planning instead of telling them.

'Game of Thrones style.' Liam smirked, thinking back about the scene with Cercei and the White Walker.

Having closed his notebook, Liam opened the book on the mirror dimension beside him.

'I have to start learning how to use the mirror dimension. Since starting an organization costs a large amount of time, I don't want to be stuck reading a book then,' he thought. 'After I get a little insight into the basics, I will go capture a few low to intermediate-level creatures in Incursio's dimension and visit Wakanda.'

Liam started reading the book on the mirror dimension. It was one of the books with the most pages and most complicated teachings within them inside the sanctum; he knew it would take him a while to get through it.

At the same time, in a different place, a large team of military personnel surrounded a house in Brazil with tranquilizer guns.
