The day I saw her, standing in the rain was the day, I saw my,
String of fate
Metaphorically speaking, It's more of a feeling. And that feeling is like seeing a string a coloured string, what I imagine is that everyone's string represents them in some form or another. Like light blue being a shy kind person, a blood red one represents someone who's angry and quick to rage.
To me my string is orange, I'm cautious and quiet from the yellow portion but when someone I know is getting picked on, or someone is doing something that could possibly hurt someone I'm quick to step in and get mad. I get that from my red portion.

I love to daydream, mainly because most nights I get nightmares. Most of them are similar to the plot of an anime like getting a cheat skill or learning a bankai. But even though it's unrealistic it's still fun for me to have these kinds of dreams. My older sis, when she stops by her university, always bugs me about getting a girlfriend or atleast a friend who's a girl, because she wants someone to gossip about me with.
But I couldn't care one bit about that, my goal is to become a Doctor so i'm always studying. Most of the time it's in the library. Today I was planning on writing important information about each part of the human organs, mainly how it should work or how to know if it's off how it should be.
But when I arrived, I saw her sitting at a table reading some manga. Her name was Hano Haruka-san. She wasn't the smartest in the school nor the prettiest but she was one of the best athletes. She's won countless trophies and awards for football or swimming and even table tennis.
She was sitting where I normally sit, so I walked past with my stuff and sat on a table near the window. When I pass her she looks up and smiles. She's nice to everyone, even the otakus and the ones who always try to hit on her, I smile back. Smiling is something I don't normally do but I did it anyway.
Not long after I sat down, clouds started covering up the sky making it look like an abyss. The following minutes rain started falling like they had no other choice. Man I was glad I had my umbrella. I get zoned into my work very quickly when it's something I enjoy. So I didn't even notice when Hano-san walked over to sit across from me and stare out the window. I realised when she started talking to me.
" Aki-kun, you don't mind if I call you that"
" Sure "
To be fair, I didn't care what anyone called me as long as it didn't disrupt me trying to do something.
" Wow, even out of school time your always learning"
" I need to if I want to become a doctor"
"Why a doctor?" she asked intrigued
"Just cause, no other reason"
"Okay, see you later"
She just got up and sort of skipped out, tho she got told off very quickly. It took a few seconds till I saw that she had left her umbrella behind. Talk about a romcom manga cliche. I grabbed mine and hers and walked out. I was constantly thinking about how cliche this situation was, like it had been done on purpose, though I highly doubt that because I heard she's very good at forgetting to bring stuff.
The moment I saw her in the rain, my heart skipped a beat. She looked at me and smiled, she said something but the rain drowned it out. That moment felt as if I had seen my string, orange string extend from my heart and start heading towards her. Even though this moment was very cliche, I was in love.
I was in love with a person who I barely knew.
The next moment I walked over to her and passed her, her umbrella. She thanked me for doing it and how cliche it was. We were laughing. Her smile felt like it was the medicine to all my problems in the world, I would do anything to see her keep smiling, even defeat the demon king with my bare fists. I was about to walk back into the library, but she stopped me and ask if I wanted to walk with her.
Before I could think properly, I said yes. No other meanings, just a plain yes.
I then grabbed my books, and we started walking. The rain was falling heavily, so I was glad that I brought my Umbrella, because I would probably get sick. The rain that had decided to rest on the streets was shining like jewels, and the lights illuminating from houses casted heavy shadows all around.
We didn't talk for a bit, she was humming to a song. I then say to her
" You live quite close to me, I never saw you walking"
She looked at me, and her mouth turned into a smile then a laugh,
"That's because I leave early for Practice. Some days I see you staying in school after the day is over, why is That?"
Her face lit up the area. The face of an angel.
" I have club on, I'm in the Manga club, I did it because at the time my sister was president"
" Wow, I would love to join,"
We were coming up to a fork in the road, the road was empty, house lights illuminating the area. She says that's the way to her house. Then I did something strange, doing this is something I wouldn't do. Like before I just said it without thinking.
" Hano-san, Do you want to be Friends with me, you don't have too"
Again She looked at me with her angelic smile,
" Of Course!, I would love to be friends with you again"
She skipped off
"Again?" I mumbled
