Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

Third Person POV

"Looks like we found ourselves some fresh meat boss." One of the men laughed creepily as he eyed the two sisters. "I think they'd fetch a good price if we sell them off to those southern traders."

"For sure, but I think I'd like a sample before we sell them off," The boss eyed Asids and Vallerie like a predator. "Sack em boys!"

Although they were caught off guard, the girls moved well. Asdis had come close to her sister to protect her, Vallerie drew her bow to take a shot at one of the men. However, her arrows were blocked by their shields.

"You girls are feisty." One of the men reached out to grab them, Asdis quickly retaliated and sliced at the man's hand. The man didn't think that they would fight back this fiercely, hence he had his arm cut right off.

"My arm!" The man stepped back in shock and anger, "You bitch! I'm gonna beat you to death!"

Filled with anger, the man charged right up to Asdis, who tried to swing at him again. To her shock she felt a hand grab her sword. The men had completely surrounded her and Vallerie, who had been punched in the face. Seeing her sister in such a state, Asidis took out a spare dagger and stabbed the man who had grabbed her sword. Seeing her feral state the men took a step back afraid that they would also be decapitated.

"Sister run! You're faster than me, warn the others!" Asdis pushed her sister away.

"But," Vallerie didn't want to leave her.

"Just go! Before both of us get caught!" Asdis yelled.

Seeing her sister being so serious, Valleries eyes welled but she ran back into the forest. She understood that it would do no good for the both of them to be captured. She knew these forests well, so she would be able to quickly find help.

"Get her you idiots!" The boss yelled to the others.

Vallerie ran as quickly as she could, she didn't look back, knowing that she would run back to help her sister if she did. Realizing that Meadhead might also be in danger she ran towards the direction of his camp.

After a dozen minutes of running non-stop she was close to passing out from being out of breath, thankfully the clearing of the camp could be seen.

Meadhead was cooking some hares with Mal when the two noticed Vallerie coming out of the forest running desperately. Mal, ran towards her, "Vallerie? What's wrong?"

"Help," She said with difficulty, "Bandits! Asdis! They took her, please!"

Mal's POV

After hearing Valleries words I felt a sudden chill down my back. Bandits? I scouted most of the land close to Berk, how come I didn't find anything?

"Meadhead," I called to him, "Take Vallerie with you, go to the village and warn the others."

"What about you?" Meadhead asked.

"I have to track them down, who knows where they set up their base. I need to find them before they can retreat." I told him, "Now go!" I headed towards the direction of where she came from. I could feel my veins pop slightly, I've considered Vallerie and Asdis to be my little sisters. They would often come over with Valkyr, so I've built a close bond with them.

I calmed myself down after realizing my anger, for the first time in many months I began to cycle mana through my body. My physical abilities have been strengthened many times. I flew between the trees until I met with a group of men that I hadn't recognized. Landing in front of them I inspected their appearance. They were rough and dirty, and they had an angry scowl on their face.

"Hah, they sent one person to die?" One of them said, "Tell us kid, where's the girl at and we might let you live." He laughed.

Hearing this I knew that they were one of the bandits. "Where is the other girl?" I asked them.

"What's with the harsh tone?" The man angrily said, "I promised not to kill you, but it looks like we'll have to torture that information out of your mouth."

The men ran right towards me, from their movement it looked like they weren't your ordinary bandits. These men were trained, it's a wonder that Vallerie managed to get away from them. I didn't bring any weapons today, since I had originally planned to mentor Meadhead for a bit before heading back to the village. That isn't stopping me from murdering these bastards.

They charged right at me swinging their weapons, and they planned on finishing me right away. What these men weren't aware of, is that I'm not an ordinary person. Jumping back to dodge their attacks I grabbed one of the men by the throat and brought him along. He swung his ax at me attempting to escape, resulting in a shattered arm.

The others stopped as they heard the guttural scream of their fellow bandit. The man struggled to call for help as he looked at his friends with fear. Seeing that they weren't going to go further, I decided to initiate the fight again. Gripping my hands, I crushed the throat of the one bandit before throwing him aside.

"Demon!" One of the men screamed.

"He's not a demon you fool, even if he was there's 5 of us left. What can he do? Another croaked. As he spoke a small pebble flew directly into his eye, piercing it as it went through his head. I wasted no more time and directly attacked the last four. Grabbing the ax of the first one I cut through the necks of the other three. The final man collapsed into the ground, as he attempted to back away.

As he crawled on his stomach I walked up to him and slammed by foot right in between his lower spine. The man whimpered and cried, "Please, don't kill me."

"I'll consider it, if you tell me where your camp is." I threatened.

"It's just north of here, we have a couple dozen men. You won't make it even if you wanted to save that girl." He quickly said, "Just don't kill-"

Hearing what I wanted, I buried his skull into the ground with my feet. "Unfortunately, not a single one of you is going to make it out of here alive."

Third Person POV

"Everyone pack up! We've been found out!" The boss of the bandits called, "Set sail as soon as possible, we have to let Alvin know that they know we're here!"

"Bitch!" The bandit who got his arm sliced off by Asdis pushed her around. "You think you can get away with cutting my arm?" He flashed a blade with malicious intent.

"Calm down," The boss said, "I'll kill you if you damage her, I'll sell your flesh to those damned cannibals if you try anything."

"Come on boss, what's wrong with a missing arm? She only needs one." The man said, as if possessed by anger he hacked away at Asdis arm. His blade was dull, but he reveled in her screams. He had already snapped her bone before the others could get to him.

"Idiot!" The boss screamed at him, "Kill him!" As he commanded the men directly cut the man's throat. "Fuck, stop her bleeding. I should've known better."

Asdis had already fainted from the pain inflicted on her as well as the amount of blood she began to lose. The men had properly stopped her bleeding, afraid that their captain might have them killed next if their product hadn't hadn't been taken care of.

"Jesus, I knew that guy was crazy," One of the bandits motioned to the dead man.

"He's an idiot is what he is, if he waited a little longer maybe that captain would've given him a treat," Another responded to him.

"Huh, she's worth more as a virgin," The other said, "Let's get back on patrol before he gets us killed." The two men went out of the cove that they were hiding at. They had set up separate patrols to keep an eye out for any stay vikings that come by. As the two made it into the forest, they noticed a man come out.

"Who are you?" One of them said, "Surrender or we-" Before he could finish his sentence the man's jaw became loose as he first met his face. The other one was about to call for backup when he was grabbed by the neck.

"Where's the girl," The man asked.

"Girl?" The guard choked, "She's inside, please don't kill me." He struggled a little more before the man ended his life. Content with his information the man snuck into the cove, he saw the few ships that were there. There were roughly at least 20 or more people moving things around.

"Hurry up! We need to get back to Alvin before Berk realizes we're here!" A rough looking man yelled at the others. "How's the girl?"

"Captain, her bleedings stopped. What do you want us to do with the arm?"

"What use would I have with an arm? Toss it for the fish to eat." The captain said.

The man's face grew tense as he heard them, knowing that he couldn't let a single one of them escape he sealed the fates of these men. The man took a deep breath before deciding to walk into the place directly. He had to find his target first to ensure her safety.

"Hey who are you!" One of the workers called out to him. The captain heard the commotion and walked over to them.

"What the hell is happening now!"

"Captain, this guy just showed up out of nowhere." The worker said.

"What are those sentries doing!" The captain roared angrily, he looked at the man and his face became slightly happy. "Well, this one looks good too. I know a few people that would pay good money for a beautiful man."

"Um, can I just pretend I didn't see anything?" The man acted afraid.

"Too late now boy." The captain grabbed him, "Hah, he's weak and skinny. I know just the person to sell you off to." He led him to a cage where Asdis was being held captive. The man's face hardened as he saw the state of the girl.

"Who did this to her?" He asked.

"Huh? Why should I tell you?" The captain looked at him strangely, "It doesn't matter, that man is already dead, get in there before I make you."

There was a long silence, from the vision of the captain his world began to spin before he went black. The other bandits looked over to their location in shock, the man had clearly chopped their captain's head off with his bare hands.

The man muttered something under his breath, as the last of the bandits screamed in terror.

A/N: Was this chapter a little Morbid? Yes. Did I enjoy writing it? HELL NO. Should the readers expect something like this to happen again and be potentially worse? I'm sorry. On the brightside, It could've been worse, trust me.
