The bell rang, signaling the start of another school day. Anzu took her seat, exchanging sleepy greetings with her friends, Yuki and Mei. As the classroom filled up, excited whispers began to spread among the students.
"Did you hear? Our English teacher, Ms. Takahashi, got transferred!" a boy exclaimed, wide-eyed.
"Really? I heard she got a big promotion and moved to a prestigious high school," a girl responded, nodding with approval.
Yuki leaned over to Anzu, eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I wonder what kind of teacher we'll get. Ms. Takahashi was so strict—maybe we'll get someone more easygoing! Our english is already bad enough, but if we get someone worse, we can say goodbye to our english exam."
Mei shrugged, already pulling out her books. "Maybe. I just hope they're not another grammar fanatic. I'm already exhausted with her vocabulary quizzes."
