As usual, members of the Kurosaki family lounged around outside one of their clubs. Shadows stretched under flickering street lamps, and the air was thick with hushed whispers and cautious glances. The Kurosaki mobsters gathered in tight circles, talking in low voices.
"I heard the Harada family's been acting strange lately," muttered one of the men, lighting a cigarette and leaning against the wall.
A second man, older and scarred from years of fights, nodded. "Same thing happened with us not long ago. That attack on our family… it didn't sit right with Jiro-sama. He's furious, after all, one of the commander ended up dying. It's not going to end without bloodshed."
"Think they're tied to it?" a younger man asked, glancing around as if expecting someone to overhear.
The older man spat on the ground. "Feels like it. There's no way Harada isn't involved. Every move they make these days seems shadier than before."
