Jace navigated the area with familiarity, enthusiastically showing her different types of sea animals. He held her hand for the entire duration of their exploration, giving her his every attention without a second thought.
The underwater tunnel left her enamored. Keira had never seen fishes so large before, her heart pounded every time a shark swam over them.
The aquarium was quiet, with only Keira, Jace, and Jason as their only visitors.
"You can touch them, too." Jace had a goofy expression while pointing his head toward a large area. "You have to wash your hands first if you want to touch."
"Really?" Although she liked looking at the colorful fishes, having to touch them wasn't something she truly wanted to do.
Well…his goofy grin is cute. I guess I'm touching fish.
Seeing the eagerness in wanting to show her around, Keira felt compelled to agree. She nodded, smiling along to his goofy grin while washing her hands.
