The sudden crying had startled everyone in the room. Keira was never a person who shed tears easily, having seen her like this yet again was difficult to stomach.
Her teeth bit at her quivering lips, trying their best to stop the sobbing that occasionally escaped them. She blinked successively, yet she failed to block the large tear drops that hung on her lashes.
"Just don't get in the way of my love again…" Keira's voice cracked and husked. She secretly eyed everyone's expressions, seeing they all had complicated looks. "For me…Austin is my motivation. I really can't lose him…"
"Why…?" Matthew found it hard to make sense of her words. The Castillos had everything, why does she need someone else as motivation?
"I don't think I'll be able to continue acting if someone took him from me…" Her watery gaze lifted to meet Selene's, mouth opening and closing, finally saying, "Please leave him alone, Selene…I beg you…"
