Summary: Stoping an evil weapon
"So … the voice isn't trying to kill us anymore?" Severine asked from the floor. Sure it brought everyone to the crazy midget, but it wasn't gentle about it.
"As long as I order it not to, and believe me, that isn't off the table just yet." Said crazy midget cackled as she sat on a pretty fancy looking chair. "I've gained complete control over this temple's magic, and as long as I stay in this chair, everything I say goes."
"Understood mam." Steve nodded. "It's nice to be working with you, voice in the walls."
"It's nice to work with you two, subpar organic." Great, now they had to deal with to egomaniacs with superiority complexes.
"Enough chatter! Temple, you will direct me and my lackey's to the core at once!"
"Request denied. Primary Directive states the Harmony Core must never be activated."
"Damn you archaic relic, you're supposed to do what I say!" The pipsqueak kicked the chair and poured like a child.
"You could always just ask her to take us to the door where the Harmony Core is behind, right?" Steve asked.
"Yes she can, mildly sub-par organic."
"Steve is improving!"
"Shut up, Steve! Nobody cares!" Kikimora shouted. "Temple, take me and my squad to the door of the harmony core!"
"Transportation underway, Empress Kikimora. Please stand on the glowing area." The space around the chair lit up.
"Ahaha! Yea! Yea! This is so amazing! I'm a genius!" Kiki bragged and continued to laugh like a madwoman. "With this temples resources and the core at my disposal, I'll be unstoppable! Nobody will ever get in my way again, or make fun of my height!"
She looked around, then turned back to the woman. "What about the emper-"
" Screw Belos! With this much power, I can force the Emperor to do what I say …" The woman paused. "Although I am still tempted to watch him sleep at night … thoughts for later." And there went her unhaunted thoughts.
They arrived at a massive giant door. "I don't think the voice will let us open those up." Severine deadpanned.
"No matter. That's what you morons are for." Kiki slumped in her chair comfortably. "You figure out how to break down that door."
"Will do mam." Steve nodded. "Hey voice, could you provide us tools to help in our mission? If not that's fine either way."
"I can promise to not attack you, mildly entertaining organic."
"Thank you, you're the best." She could hear the smile underneath his mask as he began to work on the door.
Severine walked up and began cutting herself. "So … inside this is gonna instantly eradicate all wild witches and free will all together …"
"Yeah….hey….so….have you ever stopped and asked yourself…are we the bad guys?" Steve brought up.
"Once or twice, but it's not like we can do anything about it now." Severene shrugged. "This is the route we're stuck with forever."
"Then I guess we finally answered why we're here." He responded in a low tone.
========================================================================
"Everyone okay?"
"Yeah, I landed on top so I'm fine."
"I just landed on something soft and squishy."
"I … landed on the floor." Lucci groaned from under the pile of bodies.
"Aw, thank you crystal, you're a wonderful safety cushion." Boscha patted his head and pecked him on the cheek.
"No prob … but could everyone please get off me?" He groaned as he began pushing them off to pick himself up. "Fell from the top of the world, now I've got myself a crick in the neck." Lucci began stretching out.
"This temple sucks, big time." Willow muttered as she popped her back. "From treasure hunt to preventing the end of the world. How did we reach this point?"
"Technically it's not the world so much as every wild witch, which means everyone without a sigil, which also means any children that have yet to receive one.." Lilith corrected.
"No, I had a chat with Rainbow puff." Mom said, still in Owl mode. "This thing hits the collective unconscious. All living things are gonna be mentally reduced to the same intelligence as plants."
"I feel so conflicted." Willow muttered.
"Don't see why. You're pretty much as brain dead as any dumb plant anyways." Boscha scoffed. "Probably won't do a damn thing to you."
"You better hope it does, or I'm going weed chopping when everyone's standing still." Willow glared back
"Okay, let's see." Luz muttered. "Everyone is here, I've got most of my basic glyphs stored up, some blank sheets for complex builds. And we are currently in …"
" Kikimora said the darkest and deepest place in the temple..soo.." Mom tried to fly up, only to get about ten feet up in the air before hitting her head. " No exit or opening in the ceilings."
"Okay, our best bet is to combine everything into lance mode." Lucci got out sugar. "And drill us a hole straight back up to where we left off."
"And then what?" Boscha raised an eyebrow. "It was practically impossible to get through the temple when it's trying to kill everyone, and that was before that little troll took control of everything."
"You clearly haven't seen our normal odds." Amity deadpanned. "In all likelihood, we actually stand a five percent chance of winning."
"Wow, it's usually just three percent." Willow noted with an impressed nod. "Our squad is improving."
"How the heck are the three of you so optimistic with that little of a chance." Gus questioned. "I figured you guys were too cynical to be hopeful."
"Gus?" Lucci asked. "We took on Coven Heads, the Golden Guard, the Rainbow Devil, and many other problems with life. As a group nothing short of infighting or Belos himself is gonna keep us down."
"And that was before King learned how to sonic scream, or Eda had harpy mode." Luz pointed out.
"Exactly!" Lucci pointed out, pulling out sugar. "The world may not see much when they look at us, but screw what they have to say! I know we can beat up one little goblin with an ego the size of the titan."
"Still don't feel that confident, but we've been through worse." Willow said. "I'm limited because the ground is metal and it's hard for the plants to grow. Anyone else limited at the moment?"
"Glyphs don't really work that well on the walls, they just sort of fizzle out." Luz said.
"No, they do work, it just takes a highly complex and difficult combo to circulate all the surrounding magic." Lilith explained, looking a little doubtful. "Might take forever just to craft the correct one that won't blow us all to bits in this cramped space."
"Nothing solid." Gus sighed, looking off to the side. "I'm useless in this situation."
"I think she means fake clones that can take the hits for us so we don't instantly loose our heads." Amity explained.
"This temple detects magical usage, remember?" Lilith brought up. "it'll know if we're using magic to fake it out."
"Then Gus is with you and Luz then." Willow went on. "Leaving King, Eda, Amity, and Lucci our only options for frontline fighters."
"I think everyone forgets I carry around a magic sword." Luz swung the pink blade around.
"A sword you barely know how to use." Boscha glared.
"I know how to use it better than you could."
"Is that a challenge?"
"No, it's a fact, tricopse."
Boscha walked up, snatching the sword and spun it around one handed without any effort. "Beat that, bitch."
"Why you!" Amity jumped on Boscha with murderous intent in her eyes, only for mom to pull them apart
"And would you cool it you two? We've just been talking in circles for a while and we still haven't even begun trying to find a way to escape this room."
"I believe Lucifer's plan works best." Lilith said. "Just help me carve a massive combo onto the wall, then we'll activate it to detonate, followed by the boy drilling his way through the rest."
"Why are we even bothering?" Gus sighed. "We came here to find something to help Luz get home, that turned out to be a dead end. We barely survived the rooms, and we basically handed the controls over to a little psycho."
"I mean…that's seventy percent true…but we can still turn it around." Luz suggested.
"!*#&$)%@."
"Is anyone going to acknowledge the talking prism?" Amity asked.
"I've just kind of thought that was more of a background decoration if I'm honest." Lucci nodded as he got himself ready. "So… should we pass the time with a song or something?"
"There's not much to do while we wait on the carving." Boscha pointed to the ceiling where Mom and Aunt Lily worked on the combo glyph. "And I already have a potion ready to help the destruction."
Gus looked up. "Do you really think we still have a shot?"
"We're dead either way, may as well give it everything." Luz shrugged.
" Alright kiddos, we got the combo ready!" Mom announced.
"Alrighty then, let's go save the world!" His roomie grinned, already getting into position.
"Law is back in action, fully loaded and ready to take on anything!" Amity raised her fist in the air.
"I have to come either way just to keep you knuckleheads in check." Willow snickered.
"Let's just get a move on already!" Boscha shouted impatiently, as she and everyone else aimed their respective magics at the giant glyph combo.
"Oh, let's shout out an attack name, like in anime!" Luz shouted.
"Let's not." Lucci shot back, letting Sugar crawl over his arm and letting his power pass through him.
"I really have to break down in detail the relationship crystal devils have with magic one of these days." Aunt Lily said. "Between you and the Rainbow devil, there's probably a whole field of untapped knowledge yet to be written."
"Maybe I could experiment with the Titan Blood and see where that goes." Lucci suggested. "Anyways, be on guard. There's no telling what disasters are going to be thrown out with Kikimora at the controls."
"Pretty much just every weapon at once if she tells it to kill us." Luz deadpanned. "Or blow the place up."
"She wouldn't do that last one with her still here, right?" Gus asked.
"She's a petty self serving maniac that has no hesitation in the heat of the moment. She absolutely would." Lily confirmed with a nod. Well … how dandy for them.
========================================================================
Lilith snuck around a corner, taking a head count. "Alright, it looks like a standard heimdal barrier. Four scouts in line, and a captain to take charge. They also have three abomatrons left." Didn't seem as bad as it should. "I guess Coven Scouts are low on numbers after the invasion." Lilith herself was lucky to have survived the carnage, though that was mainly due to mother being absolutely ruthless in defending their home.
"That or people stopped acting slightly less stupid and see how dumb coven's are." Lucifer commented. "I know that's not likely, but a guy can dream."
"So me and Lucci can tear through the Abomatrons No problem." Amity spoke with assurance. "The scouts are so bad at their job we can leave them to anyone here … that just leaves the captain, the rest of the scouts that can buy time and ruin surprise, and Kikimora with that control panel at the end."
"That last one's gonna be a whole job in of itself." Luz sighed. "She has full control of the temple."
" Not complete control, she hasn't gotten the temple voice to open the door for her." Edalyn pointed out. " Guess Lucci's womb donner didn't even want herself to grab this crazy thing."
" Hurray, one slightly decent act that's overshadowed by the needless drama her mere mention of existence brings to my life." Lucifer rolled his eyes.
"I'll take on the scouts." Willow said. "King, wanna go against a captain?"
"You bet I am. After all the pain I just went through, I'm itching to shout someone into a wall." The little demon took a glare at the prism object hovering above Agustus. "Don't think I'm not watching you."
"#(#&@($."
"So is this a Melon Dog situation?" Luz questioned.
"The heck is a Melon Dog situation?" Boscha asked.
"Traumatizing beast tamed by one of our members, but usually forgotten and never brought into battle or adventures." Amity explained.
"I can't bring Gourdie into battle, she's too fragile and sweet for that." The plant magic girl pouted. "So I'm guessing that means everyone else is free for all on Kikimora before she figures out how to open that door."
"Pretty much." Luz twirled her blade. "Let's go kick some witch butt." Before dropping it to the ground.
"I showed you the move once and you think you've mastered it?" The three eyed girl asked with an eye roll.
"Not all of us have magical photographic memory to help us."
"Hey, knowing and memorizing the moves is one thing, doing it is another. Don't belittle my skills, human."
"You guys really can't go five minutes without insulting each other, can you?" Lucifer sighed.
"It be like you being asked to be civil with the Golden Guard." Willow brought up.
"Hey, there is a difference between anger issues and sociopathy." He countered
"On the plus side, I'm not caught up in any group arguments." Gus smiled.
"Can you hash out the high school drama latter, we kind of have to save the world here….wow, that's a sentence I never thought I'd be saying," Edalyn blinked.
"Usually you were on the receiving end of it." Lilith pointed out. "How the tables turn …" To think this is what became of her adult life….she wasn't sure if she should be crying or not.
"Enough talking lets do this!" King jumped from his spot and ran towards the guards. "WHEEEEEEHHHHHH!"
The abomatrons were instantly launched to the far side of the hallway, leaving the scouts unprotected. "They're here, attack!"
"Oooh, this is going to feel so good!" Willow leapt forward, growing out vines from the ground and began throwing the scouts around like they were rag dolls. "Hah, best of the best my foot! Seriously, I'm barely trying with you guys!"
"Then try this on for size girly." The captain summoned a flute, playing a melody as they began to feel drowsy …
"Nope!" Edalyn tackled the man, pinning him down with talons at his throat. "Never tried these things on witch flesh, wanna see if it's quick or slow, or do you wanna sit there and do nothing?"
"I forget, are we cool with murder or is that something we actively try to avoid?" Gus asked as Lucifer took out his saws and hurled them at a few more of the troops.
"We let the adults figure out their own thing on that." He explained. "Now, for the main show." Lucifer sped over to the abomatrons, hitting one with his staff as it began to expand, then explode. "I feel conflicted. They stole my power, but it makes it so much easier to actually beat them up."
"I just remember that they're made by my parents and forget any semblance of guilt." Amity turned one into a complete puddle.
"No, I feel conflicted on if I should be pissed about what they did or laugh about how bad they screwed it up." Lucifer clarified as he blew another one up. "You'd think your dad would have made these things in mind to beat me up after what happened with the exhibition."
"Probably got too excited working with your blood to think about that, just like how anything not relating to work he completely blocks out." Her former pupils completely knocked the head off of another one.
"Wow … we took them all out and nobody needed to stay behind." Luz noted, looking over the wrapped up Scouts, the pinned Captain, and the destroyed Abomatrons. "Lilith really was holding this entire group together."
"Good help is hard to come by these days, alright!" The captain yelled. "Our best scouts got eaten after the invasion, we couldn't afford to be picky choosing the next batch to join."
"That sucks for you then." Boscha smirked. "So, to Kikimora?
"To squeeze the life out of that terrible tiny troll once and for all!" Lilith exclaimed, making everyone stare at her. "I had to work with her for almost thirty years, that is something I need to see happen."
"I'm just happy you're embracing your inner insanity" Edalyn patted her on the back. "I feel so proud as a sister." Just what she needed.
========================================================================
Kikimora tapped her fingers impatiently as she waited for the wall to break. Any second, any second … come on, damn it! "What's taking so long!?"
"The walls are thick mam." Severine stated annoyingly. "Not to mention resistant to magic."
"Ugh, why did whoever make this temple make it so hard to raid it!?" Kiki complained as she banged her head on the chair.
"She wanted absolutely no one to gain access to the Harmony Core." The temple answered her rhetorical question. " This temple is essentially the personification of all her fears and guilt coming together."
"But you seem so nice for something based around fears and guilt." Steve stated in his usual dumb tone.
"My creator attempted to be a good person. She never fully believed she achieved that goal however. Being nice doesn't automatically make a good person. You can be nice about decapitating someone and it still wouldn't make it any less horrendous."
"Yeah that sounds about right." Severine stated. "Okay, I think I got through on my end. Once Steve is done we can push right through."
"Okay, on three." The man stated, placing his hands on the wall.
"I must warn you, entering this room will delete your access, and thus will no longer protect you." The temple warned. "From here on out, if you go through, the majority of this temple's resources will be aimed solely at you."
"Damn it. If only we had some more bodies to provide cover." She could always use Steve and Severine, but that felt too small-
FWOOOSSSH
What looked like a pink lance passed by her face, nearly taking her eye out as it was summoned back to its source. "So close to a bullseye. Tiny targets are the worst."
"It seems you survived." Kikimora grinned. "Temple, dedicate all resources to these intruders!"
"As you wish, Empress Kikimora." Still felt good to hear. Multiple lasers and explosive projectiles were blasted at the boy.
" )*&&))&)&^&" Something incoherent was voiced into the air as a large….white barrier was formed, blocking most of the attacks.
"Who, did you do that, little guy?" That illusionist kid asked as the rest of the annoying group came running from behind.
"Light prism detected. Initiating capture sequence." Multiple metal arms came flying out of the walls.
"Guess I know what I'm going to be doing now." That plant girl took out more vines and entangled them in the metal arms, forcing them back.
"Time to put you on ice!" The human ran forward, shooting multiple ice shards at her. Kikimora did her best to dodge as she made her way to the door. "Lucci was right, tiny targets are annoying."
"Fortunately for you all, I know all about hitting targets of all sizes!" That three eyed girl began hurling potions at Kiki, only for pillars to come up behind her and block the liquids. "Oh come on! At least stop the gremlin too if you're going to get in our way!"
"I'm doing the best I can. Multiple sequences have been going off at once and I have multiple targets to obtain."
Yes, this was it, this was it! She jumped through the hole the two scouts made, looking at the wonderful … wonderful … "A heart gemstone … with a single switch …" She paused, staring at the pink thing.
"... I know people should focus on practicality over aesthetics … but come on." The human groaned. "This is something that could be devastating to the entire world…..and it looks like that?"
"If the goal is to end the world, why would you make it complicated?" The devil child asked. "The straight forward approach seems like the easiest way to go about it."
"Straight forward or not, this is the end!" She ran forward, flipping the switch as it began to glow. "Yes, yes!"
"NO!" All of them shouted, but it was too late.
"Behold!" Kikimora shouted. "Now this almighty power, shall be mi-" She blinked, looking down to see herself tied up, her face stinging. "... What?"
"Yeah." She looked up to see Lucifer Clawthorne, holding onto the relic. "You kinda just made every Witch stand still and make them unresponsive … including yourself." He laughed. "It was actually pretty funny. I slapped your face for like five minutes before grabbing this thing."
"But…but…HOW ARE YOU STILL STANDING!?"
"Well, I'm not all witch, am I?" He smirked, showing off his gemstone. "Devil child, remember? This was made by a Crystal Devil. Do the math."
"... So you would have been unaffected no matter what!?" She could feel something snap inside of her brain.
"Apparently … I even had the time to put your gang in a funny pose." She looked down, seeing herself on top of a witch pyramid.
"Steve is at the bottom. Steve is the pillar of support. Steve approves of this." Oh shut up.
"... nooo… what?" The rest of the nuisances came out of their brain dead trance.
"What just happened?" The Blight child asked.
"I'm immune to this thing, I saved the day." The child grinned.
"Great…!" The human shouted. "...But kind of anti-climatic if I'm being honest. That just…sort of….sucked out all the tension of the situation."
"Tension or not, we aren't brain dead, so I'll take the win as it is." The plant girl shrugged. "So….how the heck are we going to get out of here?"
" You won't ." The temple spoke, before a bright light enveloped the core, and took it up.
"Hey! We just stopped the crazy lady from using it, a little gratitude would be appreciated!" The owl lady complained.
"You've entered this temple and activated the core, even if only for a second."The room began to shake. "Drastic measures must be taken to ensure this will NEVER happen again."
The ground began to break open, followed by a giant metallic creature moving out, the Harmony Core being enveloped like a heart, beating energy through the entire thing. "That's … not good, right Luz?" The illusionist asked.
"That's a mecha, so … no, not at all." The human agreed.
"All of you shall be eliminated … Except for the entertaining organic, his conversations are nice."
"Hooray for Steve! Kindness really does go a long way!" He cheered. "Oh, could you spare Severine too? She's been having health problems, she's suffered enough. I promise she wont cause any trouble."
"Understood." The 'mecha' opened its mouth, maws glowing with pink energy as a whirring sound began to form.
"It's charging a massive laser!" Luz exclaimed. "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!"
"You guys go ahead!" Lucci yelled, getting sugar out and forming the biggest shield he could. "I'll buy the rest of you time to get far away!"
"Lucci, this is not a block the attack situation!" The human tried to argue, getting right behind the boy.
"I can handle one attack!" The beam fired … and on one hand, the shield didn't break. On the other? It was pushed back, along with the boy and the human behind him, through three whole hallways as she could see nothing but Pink.
" LUCCI/LUZ!" The rest of the group cried out in horror and panic. Well, that was two less annoyances to deal with…wait, didn't the Emperor want to keep the human alive…AAGGGG, she's failed horrendously today!
She heard a creek of metal, turning to see the metallic beast gazing upon her. "I was programed for protection. However, I will take special delight in ripping you apart, Empress ."
"What!? WHY!?" Kiki screamed as she was nearly crushed by a giant hand.
"Because you're mean to the nice organic, and you have the most annoying voice I've ever heard, and not to mention you touched the core first."
"So the metal voice has class, lovely." Shut up Severine!
========================================================================
Glyphon groaned, rubbing their head … ah shoot, they fused. Okay, let's think this over. Luz, what in the titan is a 'Mecha'? Metallic abomination basically that moves on its own. Doesn't need to rest or stop as long as it has power. So that crystal heart is its literal heart. Pretty much . At least that narrows down weak spots to aim for.
"Luz!" "Lucci!" "My babies!" The three most important woman in their components lives ran up to them
"We're good!" Glyphon assured them. "Huh, this actually the first time I've met Ed-mom in this form."
" Whoa, this is what Lucci and Luz looked like fused?" Ed-mom looked them over. "And I thought I pulled off feathers best. Nice look kiddos."
"Aww, thanks Mama." They smiled, warmly hugging the woman. Wow, this hug is so fluffy! I know, right? We should do this more often. "How are we doing on the giant beast?"
"Not very well." Amity explained as blocks of the ground began to get ripped apart and thrown around. "It's made out of the temple material, so it's very magic resistant, and it keeps firing a deadly laser at us."
" WHAAAAAA." King continued to fire at the beast, only for it to barely look like it was getting hit. "We don't want to use the core at all! Can't you just let us go!? I guarantee that we won't try and come back!"
"The core was used one too many times. I cannot risk anyone else doing so." The temple explained, smashing through the walls and throwing everyone around. "I must eliminate all that know of its whereabouts."
Okay, seriously, whoever my womb holder is, screw her. Don't be too harsh, she sounds like a nice lady. She's also had no impact on my life except for stuff like this. If you just listened to the recording- How about we focus on ripping that mecha to shreds before it hurts our girlfriends? We will come back to this later.
"Alright, what was it that Lilith said earlier? About the glyphs?" Glyphon asked Amity.
"She said the magic field around this place is different, that the energy is so powerful and overcharged that it requires more complex glyphs to manipulate it." Amity brought up.
"In that case we just need something big." Luz, what's the most complex glyph you made recently? My safety hover…oh, we can change it and turn it into a suspension field to keep that beast in place. Lets see, suspension field, combined on the beast directly, coupled with the field and the possibility of self destruct … "Get everyone and start carving your way to the top." They said. "Once you give me the signal, we'll remove the gravity from this thing and send it all the way to the outside, where we'll hit it with everything we've got."
The Abomatron goo Amity's been collecting, the full field of trees available for Willow, the lack of security keeping an eye on Gus, Boscha no longer needing to keep her potions on reserve in case the situation gets worse, and Glyph bubbles would be free to take on any form. They'd tear this thing apart easily. "Why did you have to fuse with the human?" Boscha complained.
"No time to be petty, sweet cheeks. Life and death situation here, can't look a gift snorse in the mouth." They pulled out the sword, preparing to- "Wait a second … Sugar, battle brace or spear?" They asked the palisman. Oh right, I keep forgetting to include those guys in fusion moves.
"Hhhsssss." They responded as they wrapped themselves around the sword, a bright glow showing off it looked like Sugar became one with the blade, it becoming longer, curvier, sharper, with a slight hint of green attached across it.
"Oh every part of me loves everything about this." Glyphon twirled the blade around perfectly. "Okay then, let's rock!" Glyphon raised their wings, and soared forward at blazing speeds, their sugar-sword lighting up in a magenta glow. "Hey, big and rusty!" They shouted, swinging their blade forward and slicing straight through an arm, causing it to slide off and hit the ground.
"Whoa! Glyphon, your on fire!" Willow exclaimed.
"I know right, we're so badass!"
"No, she meant that literally, your actually on fire." Gus cleared up.
"Really?" They looked at their arms and shoulders. Sure enough, they were on pink fire. "Hm, ooh, time for an anime style attack!" They began spinning around rapidly, elevating themselves in the air.
"Well Lucci is fireproof, so I guess it's fine." King noted.
They continued to spin like a gorenado; until they reached peak maximum force, and showed themselves like an arrow at its back. "Phoenix RUSH!"
Crunch
They dove right through, leaving nothing but a gaping hole in its wake. "Critical damage detected."
"Ha!" They shouted. "We're awesome and unbeatable!" Is that my naivety or your ego talking?
" Mass assimilation initiated." The beast threw it's only good arm into the floor, and began absorbing it, patching up the damages it had
"… I thought you said it wasn't magic!? It isn't! Though to be fair, really complicated space Tech is practically the same thing as magic in most media I've seen. How's that supposed to be helpful now!?
As they were arguing, the mecha thought it prudent to charge yet another laser, aimed straight at them, only noticed by the glow. "Persistent little-" They made another shield, barely blocking the attack as it pushed them through walls. We can't beat it in here, we need to play stall tactics while they work on the hole. Fine. "Yo, temple lady! You look like a pretty old gal. Someone like you must have a lot of stories to tell!"
"Not particularly. I am based off the personality of someone that's nearly as old as the universe itself, but I'm not all that interested in divolving into her past."
"Really, not a single story in there?" They asked, readying a stronger shield.
"Negative. All they did was leave me with an objective, which I will fulfill to my end." The voice sounded like it was sighing. "Which now that I think about it, is the third time she left someone alone while she got to live out her life. She's wasn't the best at learning her lesson."
"Yeah, womb donors are the worst." The Lucci sighed in agreement.
"Womb-" The mecha stopped for a moment. "Scans show a ninety percent match …" Multiple spikes and blades formed. "Increasing threat accession."
This is the woman you wanted me to know about? The one who's temple ghost wants to kill me on sight? She looked really depressed in the video! "This is why I stick with just being a witch!" Glyphon dodged the spikes as they began using the sugar-sword to carve the glyph below the monster on the ground. "You've only served to make Lucci hate the lady more!"
"You are a diamond. The harmony core is at its most dangerous in the hands of a diamond. No caution can be taken." The spears were fired off, trying to pin their wings to the ground.
"Please tell me the hole is done!" They shouted, trying their best to deflect the spears with small shields.
"Just about dear nephew-luz-human witch bird hybrid…oh titan this is difficult to put into words." Lilith called down to them. "Whatever you have planned, do it now while we still have the time!"
Good enough. They rushed forward, using bubbles to deflect its claws, carving as fast as possible with razor disks and the sword. Once done they activated it … and pushed as hard as they could, sending the thing souring up the hole. "Faster … faster …" They pushed themselves. "Faster!"
Curling up in a ball, they bubbled themselves and covered it in spikes, rolling it over and over before sending it upward like a cannon, the mecha even faster, finally seeing the light of day again before shooting themselves through the beast. "Crystal Cannon!"
They sent it even higher, flying upward with immense force. "Separation from base, materials unavailable."
IE, vulnerable. "HIT IT WITH EVERYTHING!" Glyphon shouted, sending forth glyph bubble after glyph bubble.
"This is forcing me to spend time alone with the human, you weird dumb temple voice!" Boscha tossed out every potion that she had.
"This is for making me have a crisis about plant minds!" Willow sent a massive spear from the forest itself.
"This is for making me spend time alone with Lilith!" Amity used a massive abomination hand to squeeze it to dust.
"This is for making me feel really bad about myself!" Gus created multiple illusions that hid where the real attacks were.
" Wheeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh….,,,….!" King just let out one long continuous wail that he refused to let up.
"And this is for hurting my kids, you deluded psycho!" Mama flew in fast and furious, claws extended to tear it to shreds.
"I..I was just…doing my job." More and more of its body was torn apart as the core was fully exposed and out of the open.
"And we're just trying to get back home, so neither of us will be happy today!" Glyphon twirls the sugar-sword around, creating one massive magic circle in the air with their most destructive gluon combo they could make up on the inside of it. "Glypooon….typhooonn!" The released the spell, creating a glowing and festive magical copy of themselves that spun around, and drilled directly through the harmony core.
Creaaak
For a moment, it was simply silence, nothing but beams of light escaping from the core.
BOOM
Before a massive explosion rocked the skies, pushing them down to the ground. The debri came crashing down on the group, forcing Glyphon to create multiple bubbles to shield everyone from the fiery rubble. Whoa. I don't think a fusion has pushed me to such a limit since orchid went against Snapdragon. Just rest dude, with that thing gone we have nothing else to worry about.
"You…. you….you miserable witches!" The shrill voice of the second most annoying witch they've ever met weekly raised their hand out of the burning and smoking hole. " Do you have any idea what you have done!?!?!"
"Destroy what the emperor wants and deny him from being happy?" Glyphon asked with a grin. "Yeah, I think we have a fair idea of what we did today." They turned to Aunt Liliy. "Say, want to get some last minute glyph practice in on the little imp? We can swap combinations as we fire them on her."
"No, fire rises, and it'd just fly over her head. Along with any semblance of self preservation." Lily simply walked over to the tiny witch, still trying to get out of the hole. "There's a much easier way to deal with her." And simply kicked her on the face, sending Kikimora flying.
"Seriously, loving this side of you." Mama grinned. "Okay, everyone start flying back home, I need to eat a couple voles. Seriously, update the diet for variety."
"Good, I need to process everything from this adventure." Which will give me enough time to figure out how you're going to pay me back for this. Oh come on! No buts, I said if nothing came out of this, you owe me, and by titan you definitely owe me. No, you said Boscha owes you for forcing you to come along when my puppy dog eyes didn't work. I meant it generally. You all owe me for this one.
Great, now Glyphon had a headache. Today really was the worst. At least the Emperor loses today too. Yep, nobody wins today.

Bismuth looked at the multiple holes and detonated spots through the temple. "Wow … they went hard." At least Rose wasn't stupid enough to use the Harmony Core. Then again that was probably giving the gal too much credit, given that she madethe damn thing to begin with. Turning every organic into brain dead fishes, diamonds had a twisted idea on what 'harmony' actually was.
Just another dot on the list of reasons upper crusts like them needed to be shattered and eradicated before they pulled the same stuff on them. And Bismuth would at least have the honor of shattering one of them.
They never came here for the Harmony Core, it had no purpose other than to hurt organics. It was overkill even for the weapon she was working on, which was designed to kill both Pink AND that Belos bastard.
Both were tough as snorseshit to land a solid blow on by herself, whether she had gem tech or magic. Which was why the Titan Crusher was going to be her magnum opus, something that would even surpass the breaking point, being the perfect amalgamation of both magic and gem tech.
She had the materials needed, she just needed supplements at this point, support to deal with the massive numbers and armies, along with giving her a home field advantage. The Castle Breaker. And inside the temple was one of those items.
"Light prisms. Been a solid milenia since I've seen one of those." She looked down at them. Cracked and sparking, but not unsalvageable. "The core may be too much …" The gem grinned. "But I can work with this."
