Ouch!
Sol groaned as he turned in search of a comfortable side of the bed. However, not only was the bed hard, it was even moist.
A drop of water fell on Sol's handsome face, causing him to squint in discomfort. He slowly opened his eyes, realizing he was in a dim, subterranean chamber.
The grogginess cleared as Sol sprang to his feet nimbly. He observed his surroundings and confirmed he was in a cave.
"You are quite resilient…. People usually take an eight-hour nap when I knock them out, and they are not as energetic as you. I'm shocked you only slept for four hours." Sirina's voice rang from behind and a torch lit up simultaneously.
Sol turned around to meet her calm and nearly indifferent gaze. The sound of distant dripping water and the occasional clinking of chains.
"Where is this?" Sol asked with a deep frown.
