Klein skidded back, his hands crossed over his face, covered in bruises and cuts. Jolts of electricity passed through his body but the regenerative boost of his blood channeling made sure his injuries healed nearly as fast as he was getting hurt.
But this was far from enough, it was only a matter of time before the beats overwhelmed him.

Klien heard an approaching sound, shifting his attention off the beast. At the other edge of the hill a shadowy figure shot into the air, his body blocking the moonlight as he fluttered gracefully in the air.
With a heavy thud, Sol landed, his gaze twisted in a frown as the arcane beast got his attention.
"Stormhowl Chimera…" Sol hissed, his fists clenched tight.
The Stormhowl Chimera was a fearsome predator, blending traits of three creatures—an eagle, a lion, and a serpent. Its lion-like body was covered in silver-tinted fur that crackled with lightning energy.
