Sol's eyes widened in shock, and he abruptly rose to his feet in shock; thankfully, Lucy reacted on time by letting him go. His sudden action startled Curtis, who let go of his piece of meat, crawling backward as Sol went around the fire to get to him.
Grabbing the boy by his clothes, Sol searched for his badge, finding it on the left arm of his uniform with the number "11" etched on it.
"This brat is number 11… Just a rank beneath you." Sol muttered, shifting his gaze to Lucy.
"What?" Lucy blurted out, her gaze filled with disbelief.
Battle Mage was the name for those who could be considered Jack of All trades. They were exceptional at everything, so I didn't focus on one.
'Õnis…' Sol's eyes tightened as he let go of Curtis and got back on his feet.
