Chapter 4 - One Piece: Jon Stark, The Awakening (CH:4)

"Where am I," Jon said as he regained consciousness after the rather rough travel through the warp portal.

"Ahhh, my head feels like it's about to implode!!!" Jon seethed in agony as he clutched at his head in an attempt to soothe the pain he was feeling from the influx of memories he was receiving.

"Slowly, Jon moved his hand away from his head as the pain subsided and began to survey the room he was in. His eyes lit up in unexpected recognition, "Wait wait, I can recognize this room, but how? I've never been on this ship before. Wait, ship? When did I board a ship?"

'Wait, these so-called memories that feel so familiar to me yet so out of touch aren't mine, but then what happened to my memories? I feel like I've lost something, I can't remember anything except my name and my experience with a sword. The name of my father, wait did I even have a father? What about my mother, did I have a mother, or what about siblings? Did I have any or was I a sole son?

Jon began to slowly drop into despair as he could feel a huge void in not only his memories but also in his heart. His inability to recall the names of his father, siblings, and those of his closest confidants has made him feel heartache even though he doesn't why he feels that way.

As Jon continued into a spiral of negative emotions, the ship he was on ran aground and stranded itself on the shore of an island which managed to knock some sense into Jon in a very literal manner as he was sent flying into the wall face first.

"Damnnn, that hurt," Jon said as he rubbed his face, "But I needed that, I need to take time to think and organize these memories I have. The name of the current body I inhabit is Jon D. Stark, similar to my own in my previous life, but this body is only a year old. A funny joke, but I'll work with it as I have no other choice. This body does have a father and mother, but my memories of them are very foggy. All I can recall about them is the word Winter."

"I need to get moving, it's been a long time since I've last eaten since my stomach is growling."

Jon began to make his way to the cabin door, opening the door and coming upon an amazing sight.

Before Jon's eyes, lays the biggest ship he has ever seen. It could carry a large army and still have plenty of room for them to all enjoy some private space. As Jon made his way down the deck of the gigantic ship, he looked up and saw sails that were embroidered with the head of a dire wolf.

This triggered a foggy memory of Jon, "That symbol, no sigil, it belongs to my family, a dire wolf and Stark, this feels familiar, in both of my lives."

Jon made his way to the side ladder and climbed down to reach the ground below. That's when he saw the hundreds of side cannons along the port side of the ship with a few cannons that looked like they packed the power of a giant.

The wood of the hull is pale and silvery, streaked with veins of blue that almost pulse with life as if the ship itself was carved from the bones of the North.

At the bow of the ship looms the unmistakable figurehead: a massive direwolf's head, snarling into the wind. The craftsmanship is terrifyingly lifelike—the wolf's eyes, made of gleaming blue gemstones, seem to follow you, glinting with an eerie, cold light. Its fangs, sharp and jagged, are carved to look as if they could rip apart any ship that dares stand in its way. Ice clings to the head, forming icicles along its muzzle, giving the impression that it's frozen in time yet still alive with a wild, dangerous energy.

Flanking the sides of the ship, the cannons are no less impressive. Each one is engraved with intricate designs of howling wolves and swirling snowstorms. When the light hits them, the silver barrels shimmer with a frost-kissed hue.

They are massive, larger than the cannons of most ships, and their cold steel gleams with a deadly promise. You can almost feel the power that lies within, ready to unleash devastation upon anyone foolish enough to challenge the ship.

"How was a ship of this power left completely unmanned and left to sail on its own?"

Jon touched the hull of the ship and he could've sworn he saw the blue veins shine brighter, so he touched the ship and indeed it did. The blue veins along the port and starboard side of the ship grew brighter.

"Why is it glowing brighter? This ship is as odd as it is grand, but I have to move. I need to secure fresh water and a source of food if I wish to survive on this island."

Jon made his way deeper into the island, where he found a huge rainforest teaming with life. Regardless, Jon kept moving further into the island until his movement were halted by a boar, a really big boar that was at least 2 meters tall and 1.5 meters wide, and unluckily for Jon, it saw him.

The boar instantly locked its sight on Jon and charged with its head down pointing its 3-meter-long tusks to Jon's body.

Instinct was what saved Jon as his body instantly moved and jumped over the boar demolishing all the trees that were in its path.

'What the hell, how did I jump that high?' Jon thought to himself as he looked at his hands and legs, 'Even though I'm only a year old physically in this life, this body is already way stronger than my body in my old life which means.... I have a chance at killing this boar.'

Jon's eyes steeled themselves with resolve, he looked around the area he was to figure out what he could use to his advantage. On the floor, was a thick stick that he could use as a weapon with multiple trees that he could as cover against the boar.

During this time, the boar was confused because it was confident it would crush the challenger that entered its territory, but instead, it knocked over a bunch of its favorite trees. This infuriated it, causing it to turn around and lock eyes with the challenger as it motioned its front leg to display dominance.

Jon noticed this and smirked, he lifted his left arm and motioned with his hand....

"Come"
