I arrived at school rather late the following morning due to some accident on the road causing a traffic jam on the way. Thankfully, Uncle Tan tended to drive me to school early to account for such situations so I still managed to arrive before the classes started. For someone who was generally lenient and spoiling to me, he was pretty adamant about keeping discipline and following rules in things like this, which probably had to do with the importance of following the 'Family' tradition and the 'Father's Commands' in the organization - the values that everyone in the Family are sworn to uphold. There was also a certain irony to it as the whole 'charity' organization itself was probably breaking other rules in the form of governmental laws. People seemed to pick and choose what to follow and what to ignore based on their agenda.
