I was lying in the hospital bed wide awake. It was just after midnight and I should have been sleeping like a log considering the rough day that I'd been through, but every time I closed my eyes I could see that man getting slashed open by Hechan's father.
It sent shivers down my spine.
Theoretically, I survived the whole ordeal without any injury today. Compare that to the kidnapping incident where I had to endure actual physical attacks on my body, that kidnapping should have been a lot worse experience. But maybe visually, what I saw today was a more vividly violent image. Considering that I saw a man whose head got sawed off back then, it said volumes about how bad today's scene was.
