Chapter 94 - Game on

Our track and field day wasn't going well at all. 

As expected, South East High was taking first place in most events. 

Life was so unfair. It felt like the underdog winning was a thing of the past that only existed in the fantasy of movies and TV dramas. The rich these days were not just rich. They were rich, beautiful, smart, athletic, and pretty much a class above everyone else in every aspect.

Not that I had much to complain about that as Jenn… but coming from a very humble family background, I felt a little bitter in my heart and I desperately wished that us underdogs could come here and achieve something. 

However, although in our last district event, we did okay - placing within the top 5 for many races - today we were finishing as the bottom 3 mostly. 

The morale was plummeting despite Captain Lee's best efforts.
