One morning, thankfully, I was fortunate to see Captain Lee standing by our classroom's door before he inevitably ended up calling out my name, which caused trouble every single time.
After he saw that I noticed him, instead of shouting across the room he waved his hand to greet me and gestured me to come over. I looked around to see if anybody noticed and well, as expected Ajin saw Captain Lee. However, it seemed she wasn't interested in getting in the way this time as the Captain wasn't trying to enter the classroom. Or was it because of what happened last time? Was she holding some grudge against me that I still didn't understand?
"Hi, Captain"
"Hey, long time no see. Are you alright?"
We spoke well out of the way from our classroom, standing by the window in the hallway.
"Yeah. I got injured in some silly ways but am recovering now"
"I see. That's good to hear. I was worried when I heard that you've been missing classes for a while"
