On my way back to the classroom I saw Captain Lee by chance, probably because instead of going back through the entrance on the East Wing I decided to walk across the field outside to get to the main entrance to return to class. Surprisingly, Lee was sitting on a bench together with Ajin and they were chatting and both of them seemed to be in a good mood. It was the first time I saw Ajin willingly talk to other people since the incident, let alone look happy doing so.
"Hi Ajin, Hi Captain", I approached to greet them.
"Oh, Hi, Jenn!", the Captain answered cheerfully, but Ajin just looked at me and turned her gaze away.
