It actually didn't take me that long to recover from the attack I've suffered at Hechan's cafe. After all, the only real physical attack I received was a whack on the side of my body - that hurt like hell, but it wasn't life-threatening.
But with the combination of all that happened - almost dying myself, seeing gruesome mutilation by Hechan's dad, Danbi walking away from me, and that encounter with Jenn was messing up my head and I felt like I couldn't think straight anymore.
To make it worse, neither Hana nor Mom came to visit me. I knew something must have gone wrong and that's why Hana was called up, but surely if and when everything was over they would come to see me? And didn't everything end with Hechan's dad and his lackeys taking care of all the enemy attackers?
One day passed. Another day passed. And another day.
