Micheal Alpharia
Opening my eyes gently, I found myself staring at the familiar ribbons of my bed canopy.
My throat felt dry as I cleared it, and I noticed a light pressure on my forehead. Instinctively, I reached up to touch it.
"Don't hurt yourself." Sophia's voice came softly. I turned to look at her, worry etched across her face.
"What happened?" I asked, confusion clouding my mind. The last thing I remembered was my encounter yesterday. Why was I lying in bed now?
"Don't worry, Alpha. That lady will be punished for what she did to you." She squeezed the towel she was holding and placed it gently on my forehead.
"Punished?" I repeated, a frown creasing my forehead. "You will be fine." Her touch only fueled the anger simmering inside me.
"Luna," I said her name with a fierce tone.
"Yes, Alpha." She giggled, almost bringing her hand towards my forehead again. "Don't you dare." My voice was harsh, and her hand froze mid-air.
