The bus screeched to a halt as AK's (Amrit Kanwal) jeep was in front of the bus on the bridge, blocking the road. Dust rose into the air, mixing with the sharp sound of metal clanging. AK sitting on the jeep's hood as his thugs stepped out, his eyes locked on Simran Kaur through the bus window, his gang flanking him on either side. The narrow bridge left no room for escape.
Simran's heart raced, her pulse quickening with every step AK Thugs took towards the bus. His men, armed and menacing, smirked with confidence, knowing they had her cornered. Thugs, with a sinister grin, banged on the door. The driver hesitated for a moment before the door hissed open
"Brother, We finally found our Sister-in-law," MP's voice cut through the tense air,
"did you really think you could run from me?"
"Don't worry, After our Wedding Night, you will be thinking about me every time."
AK said and gestured his men, and they began advancing towards her. Just then, Karan moved swiftly. His eyes darted between the men, calculating his next steps. With a sharp inhale, he bolted. And from the back of the bus I was enjoying the Show as it's not every time you get to watch a live fight.
In an instant, Karan sprinted towards AK, his feet light and precise. He leapt into the air, using the heads and shoulders of AK's men as stepping stones, moving with speed and accuracy. Shock and confusion spread among the gang as they realized what was happening, but it was too late.
With a powerful roundhouse kick, Karan struck Amrit Kanwal square in the chest, sending him stumbling back. The force of the kick reverberated through the bridge, silencing AK's mocking words. Karan landed gracefully, the gang too disoriented to react. Without missing a beat, he grabbed Simran's hand.
"Waiiiiiiii-t!" Simran Shouted screams.
Without another word, they both sprinted towards the edge of the bridge. In one fluid motion, they leapt into the air, plunging into the river below. The cold water engulfed them, but Karan's grip on Simran was firm. Above, AK's enraged Grab their Guns and about to shoot at them.
"Hey, You guys shouldn't be playing with Guns."
...
I would've also follow them but Because of system.
Flash back (When we haven't gotten out of the bus)
Quest Triggered : Beat AK and his men
Reward: Skill - Hide Presence
So, here I am facing a gang of thugs who had blocked my way. Atop the bridge, it felt lik- Nevermind.
AK his eyes like a Hyuga stares at me as he stepped forward. "You're going to die here, for the humiliation that your friend has given me."
Without hesitation, he pulled out a pistol and fired directly at me.
'Adrenaline Rush'
The gunshot echoed loudly, but the bullet sliced through nothing but empty air as I moved, fluid and fast. I twisted my body to the side, effortlessly dodging the shot.
In a flash, I have closed the distance, grabbing AK's wrist and twisting it with precision.
"AaaaAAaah" AK grunted in pain as the gun slipped from his hand and fell to the ground with a metallic clink.
Without wasting a second, I delivered a sharp elbow to the AK's jaw, sending him stumbling backward, clutching his face.
Then MP aiming his gun with shaky hands, before the MP could fire, I sprinted toward him, the sudden speed caught MP off guard, and his aim faltered. He squeezed the trigger, but the shot went wide, missing me completely.
In a split second, I have closed the distance. With a swift, powerful motion, I knocked the gun out of MP's hand, sending it clattering into the river below. MP, now defenseless, swung a wild punch, but Dev easily dodged it.
With a quick, fluid combination of moves, Dev delivered a sharp elbow to MP's ribs and followed it up with a forceful kick to his chest. The MP stumbled backward, losing his balance.
Before MP could regain his footing, I grabbed him by the collar and tossed him to the side, sending him crashing into AK. MP and AK groaned, trying to get up, but it was no use.
The other thugs, momentarily shocked, recovered and charged at me with a mix of pipes, knives, and fists.
The first thug swung a pipe at me, aiming for my head, but I ducked low, the weapon missing my head by inches. I retaliated with a powerful uppercut to the thug's stomach, lifting him off the ground and knocking the wind out of him.
Another thug came at me from the side, thrusting a knife toward my ribs. I sidestepped, grabbing the thug's wrist and twisting it until the knife clattered to the ground. With a fluid motion, I swept the thug's legs out from under him, sending him crashing onto the steel bridge.
Two more thugs charged at once, hoping to overwhelm me. But its just their imagination, I moved like a shadow, ducking and weaving between their strikes. I grabbed one by the collar, throwing him into the other, causing both to stumble into the steel railings of the bridge. I followed up with a lightning-fast roundhouse kick that connected with the side of one thug's head, sending him crumpling to the ground.
The final thug , panic clear in his eyes, hesitated for a moment before rushing at Dev with a wild swing of his fist. Dev caught the punch mid-air, twisted the thug's arm behind his back, and slammed him face-first into the railing.
Within moments, the bridge fell silent except for the groans of the defeated thugs sprawled across the ground. Dev stood tall in the center, barely breaking a sweat, the midday sun casting a sharp outline of his figure.
"Next time," I said, his voice was calm but firm, "think twice before harming my Friend."
With that, I walked forward, leaving the fallen thugs behind, their egos bruised and their weapons scattered on the bridge beneath the glaring sun.
