Soon, Rhodes also left, leaving Dave alone with his girlfriends. As he glanced at the four women, he chuckled to himself. "It's like I'm collecting Pokémon," he thought, amused.
His chuckle didn't go unnoticed. Diana narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "He's definitely thinking something perverted," she remarked, and the others nodded in agreement—except for Hancock.
"I will aid him in any of his perverted fantasies," Hancock declared confidently, causing Trish, Emma, and Diana to facepalm in unison.
Dave shook his head, amused. "Why don't you ladies take Hancock with you and help her get accustomed to this place?"
Diana's eyes lit up. "Girls' night, huh? Let's do it!" she said, pumping her fist enthusiastically. The others nodded in agreement, though Emma had to step in and grab Hancock, who had been attempting to sneak back toward Dave.
"Come on, Boa," Emma said with a smirk. "You'll have plenty of time with him later."
With that, the group of women left, leaving Dave to his thoughts. As the door clicked shut, he chuckled softly. "They're something else," he muttered to himself. Then, tilting his head slightly, he added, "Aren't they?"
A ripple in the air caught his attention, as though the very fabric of space was distorting. From the shimmering disturbance, a figure emerged, stepping through as if walking from a mirror.
"You were able to sense me?" the Ancient One asked, lowering her hood to reveal her calm, wise expression.
"It wasn't easy," Dave admitted, gesturing toward a nearby chair. "So, to what do I owe the honor of a visit from the Sorcerer Supreme?"
The Ancient One regarded him with curiosity. "Hmm, you know about me," she mused before taking the seat.
"Not much," Dave replied with a shrug. "I just guessed, considering the powerful presence you radiate."
She smiled faintly. "I sensed a demonic energy earlier—strong, but fleeting. It's as though it no longer exists. That's why I came," she explained, her sharp gaze locking onto him.
"Demonic energy?" Dave echoed, frowning slightly. He hadn't considered demons as a common occurrence in the Marvel Universe, save for entities like Dormammu. "There are demons here too?"
The Ancient One nodded. "There is a Demon Realm, and naturally, demons exist within it. Some are weaker, mere pests, but others are Demon Lords with vast power and influence. They rarely interfere directly with this realm, but..."
Dave nodded, processing her words. "I see. Maybe I should visit that realm someday," he mused, though inwardly he knew his knowledge about Marvel's mystical side was limited.
"I did use demonic power, briefly," Dave admitted. "But I have another ability that allows me to suppress it." He said while inwardly adding ' I can control which powers I manifest—like the Dante or Whitebeard templates—or even combine them.'
The Ancient One studied him for a moment before standing. "I can see that. I've been observing you for some time, and while you are not a threat, you must exercise caution. Excessive use of demonic power can draw the attention of Demon Lords. They might attempt to connect with your powers to invade this realm."
Dave nodded solemnly. "I'll do my best to minimize its use."
Satisfied, the Ancient One handed him a piece of parchment. "Here is the address to Kamar-Taj. Should you wish to expand your understanding of mystic knowledge, you're welcome to visit."
With that, she created a glowing portal and stepped through, disappearing from sight.
Dave stared at the space where she had vanished, his mind swirling with thoughts. "I really need to learn how to do that," he muttered, examining the parchment she left behind.
"I guess my next destination is Kamar-Taj," he said to himself. Feeling the weight of the day, he walked to his bed, flopped onto it, and soon drifted off into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Dave woke up to the sight of his four girlfriends peacefully sleeping beside him. Careful not to disturb them, he slipped out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. As he gazed into the mirror, a thought crossed his mind.
"Should I take them with me?" he murmured to himself, shaking his head after a moment of consideration. Unlike the One Piece world, time wouldn't stop here. Except for Trish and Boa Hancock, the others had responsibilities in this world, including himself.
"Though Diana and Emma could probably handle my work without me," he mused with a small smirk. Still, he decided it would be best to take only Boa Hancock. It would give her a chance to acclimate to this world's customs and allow the others to continue managing their respective duties.
"Alright, that's settled," he muttered, finishing his morning routine.
When he stepped out of the bathroom, his thoughts were interrupted by four pairs of predatory eyes fixed on him. Before he could say a word, the women pounced, pinning him down.
"You slept through the night, so we didn't get to have any fun," they teased.
Dave chuckled nervously, giving each of them a quick kiss and promising to make it up to them that night. His charm managed to placate them—for now.
After another quick cleanup, Dave got dressed, as did his girlfriends. They gathered in the living room, ready to see him off.
"You're only taking Boa with you?" Diana asked, pouting playfully.
Dave smirked and gave her a light chop on the head.
"Oww! That hurt!" Diana whined, rubbing her head while glaring at him.
"If you come with me, who will take care of the company?" Dave asked, his tone teasing but firm.
Diana puffed her cheeks in protest but had no response. Internally, her mind was already racing. I need to find a secretary to handle things so I can go with him next time.
Emma patted Diana's shoulder with a knowing look. "Don't worry. You'll get your turn," she said with a chuckle.
Trish leaned back on the couch, smirking. "Have fun babysitting Hancock, Dave. She's going to be wide-eyed at everything."
Boa Hancock, standing proudly beside Dave, shot a glare at Trish. "I do not need babysitting!"
Dave sighed and shook his head with a smile. "Alright, everyone, I'll be back soon. Try not to burn the place down while I'm gone."
With that, he and Hancock left the apartment, ready to head toward Kamar-Taj.
