Trigger Warning: Mentions of Violence and Abuse
Witches are not bad changelings, but some turned rotten apples because of something hurtful they encounter. The Trix are originally a group of six, but three had left due to their good alignment and their strong dedication to academics because they are from Beta Academy, making the Trix as a group of three again.
Mirtazi Gullioni:
Originally a loner throughout her childhood because of her specialist winx of illusions, her life changed as Luchia and Icylla invite her to the Trix in Beta Academy. She was abandoned by her normal family when she hit puberty because they cannot accept that she is a changeling because when her adoptive father attempt to rape her, she blew illusions of gushes of strong wind to repelled him, then her adoptive brothers and father beat her up and dragged her outside their home while her adoptive mother cheered. At birth, she was abandoned by young witch and wizard as they are not ready to become parents, who are the lowest scums of Solaria and ended up in the prison of Solaria.
Then the foster normal family just adopt her for nothing by kidnapping her, transported back to the real world and they treat her like a slave as the only daughter whose siblings are only brothers, Mirtazi cooks, cleans and serves for the family, and she only has a stool for her birthday in order to fulfill her duty as a free maid. The sound of her bedroom door banging sounds like she needs to woke up earlier to serve her abusive adoptive family. So, she lashes out by pranking. However, as Icylla, Stormfli, and Darumanu have gone too far and eviler, she was hesitant to stay, but reluctantly left the group with Luchia following the Miss Magix incident to focus on attending Alfea University. With her new confidence, she can study both sorcery and the Law School Admissions Test. Headmistress Giselle met her on her convocation day and gave her a new home for her to study in Alfea Law School, but the new home becomes chaotic during the orientation where Luchia, Bloom, Stella, Flora, Mari, Beatrix and all new students attend where a riot happened because of a witch winning Miss Magix and she turned into a pumpkin by one of the fairy students.
Luchia Harukaze:
She was born ugly that her family cannot stand looking at her, since they are known for their beauty and their old money business on beauty and fashion. The Harukazes are a fairy-Airang mixed race family. Her mother is a fairy similar to her cousin's father.
In her childhood, she was very friendly and popular among her schoolmates, despite her appearance and her witchy desires, which her popularity increases as she joined the Trix in Beta Academy. To gain her confidence, the Trix signed up for Miss Solaria while enchanting her beauty. Her ballet skills surpassed her competitors, but when she was about to be crowned Miss Solaria, her beauty charmed expired, and she ran off in tears, leading to the judge to crown Princess Stella as Miss Solaria. Despite Mirta's concerns, Luchia insisted to stay with the Trix, thus motivating Mirtazi to left her to clean up her act. Miss Solaria winners can compete in Miss Magix, but Luchia participated in this beauty pageant and as she is about to lose her crown, she delivered a speech on equality and friendship and her dream to reform Solaria, and was crowned by the judge who was so touched by her speech, causing Stella, to came back home screaming, and vowed to not participate in beauty pageants again. She then left the Trix following her friend as she realize she cannot save the Trix from their traumas. The Trix in Beta Academy after the departure of Luchia consisted of Mari, Icylla and Stormfli.
Two years later, she currently attends Alfea University majoring in Politics. As the only witch crowned Miss Magix, she was accused of defamation of Solaria and a riot in Alfea University started, where fairies and non-fairies pick sides.
Stella and Flora have a face off in the simulation room, with a longsword and a scepter.
"Are you the reason why this happens?"
"Nothing much for me to be part of!"
"You are my nightmare!"
"What?"
She choke-slams her and pins her to the ceiling.
"Your whole family killed my sister, and my sweet home. All fairies want is dominion, especially during Fairy Raj era. They want to get rid of monsters like me. You are not supposed to be here, you never will."
"I have nothing to do with all this."
Stella spreads an ounce of fairy magic around Flora's body, where Flora cannot uses her powers.
"I am just an extension and an accessory to Solarian propaganda, but not anymore today."
A burst of fairy magic pushed Flora where she was slammed to the floor. Stella fled the scene and escaped the riot. Flora, ignoring Stella caught a handful of fairies turning into dark fairies and entering the Obsia dimension, the home of Lord Darkar and pursuit them as they open the portal. She tried to close the portal with her pure strength and attempted to coaxed them to get out, but her efforts are no use as the portal exploded.
Luchia and the others arrived as the portal is closed, which she tell her that there is no need to resent her and she reassures her that not all witches are evil, but the Trix are. Flora rushed to hug her and told her that her fear is being weak. Then she transmuted Mirta's back into her normal form.
Headmistress Giselle arrived and revealed that she used to be a witch and Alfea University has alumni who are witches and pacified the fairies and non-fairies to know their weaknesses and joined hands with each other. Finally, she then started the orientation peacefully with a tour around the campus. Luchia is a witch with lesser mind winx and witch magic, which she cannot read and control dreams, not control minds, but she reads people's memories and minds like she read a book and watch a movie.
Stormfli Harkess:
Stormfli was playing with her fairy classmates in elementary school when they said,
"You are going to be the witch that we are going to fight!"
Stormfli cried back home to her mother.
"Mom, they kept insult me."
"Do not worry about them, just be proud that you may or may not be one."
But Stormfli met a wannabe good air witch (Mari) who she befriended. Both have strong childhood memories under a sky without sun, moon and stars and have similiar winxes. She, like her friend have good grades because she came to her house to finish her homework, and she looked up to her as a good role model. The Trix in Beta Academy frequently bullied them, but luckily, Luchia and Mirtazi apologized once they leave the group, and they all are study buddies, but are betrayed after Stormfli and Marie join Icylla.
Her family is wicked, and they aided the Circe, a group of ruthless fairies who seek to find the Dragon Flame Changeling. She was introduced to the Trix by her family and joined to helped them complete their quest. Stormfli and Icylla was unable to proceed with higher education due to their deliquency which led to her expulsion by Headmaster Griffin, and results in her returning to her family coven. She had no choice but to break up the Trix and her relationship with Mari because their families disapprove of their engagement. Disappointed, she along with Icylla and Darumanu helped the Circe and her family searched every nymph and dragon.
But she failed to complete her family's quest for the Dragon Flame....
At the concert in Golden Auditorium in Alfea University, Stormfli sneaked along with the audience, ready to kidnap Bloom. Simultaneously, it was Mari's turn to sing her self-written song, "A Sky Without Moon and Stars." Mari uses her wind powers to drag Stormfli in disguise and she cried remorsefully on how Mari still loved her unconditionally although they are separated for years. After the concert, she hugged Mari, share a kiss with her and warned her that the Trix, Valtor and her family were hunting for Bloom, which Bloom's friends were shocked and she returned back to her family coven.
There is no homecoming in her coven. Her family found out that she betrayed them, and they resorted to killing her by tying her into a totem and use a killing spell but she escaped their attacks by repelling their spells, killing her own family and achieved Charmix.
Icylla:
A fairy princess of a royal family from the snowy realm of Dynamond, ruled by a constitutional monarchy and a political party of majority. Despite her royal status, she had a normal social childhood with multiple friends. Her parents are an abnormal ice fairy who is ostracized in Solaria and an Herrakule freezing specialist, she had two sisters, Sapphia and Astrid. Her maternal grandparents are ice fairies and when they plan to unleash their evil plans due to constant discrimination in Solaria, her mother stood against them. The constitutional monarchy of Heraldon changes from one royal family to another, which in her youth, it was her family's turn and therefore she and her sisters are home-schooled. She was the last of her sisters to have powers, thus she is a late bloomer. When her fairy magic manifested at 14 years old, her family organized a ball, where Sapphia was kidnapped, and Astrid was cursed to turned into a fox by a Solarian fairy without any cure. Her parents tried to paid ransom to her sister's kidnapper, but they take the cash and ignored them.
Defeated and depressed, they abdicated their position and are exiled, never leaving their palace. Her resemblance between her and her sisters was too strong for her parents to look at her. Rumors have spread around Dynamond about her and her family, one of it that she caused the kidnapping of Sapphia, but they covered up. Icy's parents become severely depressed to the point that they will never emerge from their room. Icy lost her friends due to the rumors and she grieves alone and resented her parents. In some days where she has time with her parents, they suddenly lashed out at her for no reason. She had private tutors to teach her but all of them make her meek and stunted her. Fed up, she found Daruman, Mirtazi, Mari, Stormfli and Luchia when she sneaked out to attend Beta Academy with the headmaster's recommendation letter and they form the Trix, which became a trio after she had gone sinister due to the physical and mental abuse of her severely depressed parents.
She was so jealous of Bloom because she went to Alfea and have the Dragon Flame which can miraculously heal anything and was heartbroken that Marie was able to scored a place with Bloom. So, she along with the Trix hunted for Bloom, and attacked Alfea University where Bloom studied, but her actions are backfired thanks to Aster's Morphix. Bloom is a soft, kind, and warm-embracing opposite of Icylla's cold-hearted and freezing temper.
Both personalities clashed as Bloom becomes Dark Bloom because of her motherly, warm, carefree personality attracting Lord Darkar to turn her against her friends who tried to snapped her back but to no avail. Seeing Dark Bloom along with her and Darumanu, she confronts Bloom without any violence and confessed to her that she wanted the dragon flame so that she wanted power over Heraldon and repented in front of her, breaking Bloom free from Lord Darkar's control. However, she also betrayed Lord Darkar along with Bloom and attempted to get back at them, but fire and ice are a great combination that is unable to stop by his blood magic, resulting him to flee and took Darumanu. As Bloom promised that she will find Sapphia and turned Astrid back to normal, Icylla teared up and hugged her thanking her for listening without judgement both get their Charmix. They then watched helplessly as Darumanu followed Lord Darkar.
Darumanu Shakya:
Unlike most girls, she is not afraid of blood, decapacitated heads, etc. She was also beautiful; therefore, she became a living goddess, whose feet is not allowed to touch the earth and denied her childhood. She was skinny during her tenure as a winxless, virgin goddess in the conservative mountainous range of Ohm ruled by absolute monarchy, where virginity and winxlessness of a woman is highly respected and worshipped, and the king has a harem which involved winxless ex-living goddess who do not have winx. After her menarche and her first manifestation of her winx, she lost her title and found out that she is the specialist of darkness. Desperate, she begged the king to grant her the permission for her to access education but was chided by him.
"You are just a goddess. You do not need education."
She is not even allowed to get married because if she did, her husband will shortly passed away as she hold a curse of the ex-living goddess. Her family secluded and isolated her after her Winx manifestation, until the Trix break her out of her family home. Luchia and Mirtazi even offered to teach her literacy and numeracy. Her insanity gone even further by her betrayal from the emperor cause a painful betrayal to her teachers. She eventually became Lord Fairy Darkar's apprentice.
However, she and her friends met again when Lord Darkar instructed her to destroy Ohm, the realm she is raised in and proposes his marriage to her after she did it. But her friends managed to arrived, but to their horror, Ohm is swallowed by darkness, and the emperor was killed by her black hole blades, so they have to split up and find Darumanu, as she wrecked havoc and harmed Ohmians. Luchia sensed Darumanu's traumatic memories in her home realm, and managed to track her. While injured, she comforted her and reminded her that she give her an education that she yearned. She then puts her head on Darumanu's. Darumanu was given the courage to resist Lord Darkar's manipulation. Founding out that his real personality is revealed as Sebastian Valtor, Lord Darkar attempts to coaxed and controlled her, but she resisted and weakens Darkar with the darkness that she used to attacked Ohm and banished him into Oblison, her own prison for serious criminals like Valtor. She then gained her Encharmix and aided the Ohmians by relief work along with her friends. Ohm was finally free of darkness, and the elections are held for the first time. A week later, Ohm had a new prime minister whose unsung efforts of making Ohm an utopia have come to life.
The Trix now became redeemed witches with their pasts as their novels, although they are separated. Icylla reconciled with her private tutors and worked on being the ruler of Dynamond, Stormfli became a successful actress, and Darumanu went to Tibetian monastery to learn to control her winx.
Headmaster Griffin described the Trix as a bunch of mean girls with complicated backstories in front of Maria as she visited Alfea:
"You have matured into a fine woman since you left the Trix and congratulations on your engagement with Stormfli. I had met Icylla with you several times in my office, but she was hopeless, drowning herself in frostbite and I failed her."
